It would have been such a cool car with a turbocharged 3.8L...
  2. This seems to be a running theme with our friend trinacriabob... he just loves to stick people in messy little boxes. I wonder why. If you are stuck prejudging everyone, how can you really experience the diversity of life?
  3. Sixty4, I was just giving trinacriaroberto some $h!e for asking z to take time out of his vacation to run an errand for him. He got the joke, I think. :AH-HA_wink: Isn't Farrah Fawcett a Corpus Christi native?

  5. There was some funky stuff going on, namewise, with Ford's midsize cars around that time. At the Ocean City Spring Cruise last year, I saw what I thought was a Torino (it looked similar to the Falcon pictured, only it was a post coupe), but it was badged "Fairlane". I had to ask the guy about it. I'd actually like to hear from a Ford historian on the intricacies of their midsize cars from, say, '68-'72.
  6. And our boy Sixty4 would love it, even after all that work putting it together.

    more pictures, please!
  8. Uh... meow? :AH-HA_wink:
  9. Hmmm... I don't think I have any obsessions right now. Clearly, I need one.

That's the first thing I thought, too. Croc is right, it has the stance and proportion of a Catera. I do like it though, even if it is a bit dated.

    Good pics, Drew.
  13. Pontiac G6 coupe is hot. I'd date me if I owned one. The only ones on the list that really turn me off are the Camry and Prius.
  14. You do know why it's called a Century, right Vipes? :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Also, could you please check out the landscaping at the McDonald's on the corner of 32nd and Cactus Ave in Corpus and get back to me? Thanks. Have fun, z!
  16. Saw a last-gen Avalon in metallic olive green with a beige fake convertible top, gold package, and a tacky wing. Everything else stock. Driven by a geezer.
  17. Ohhh God... my EYES!!! :AH-HA_wink:
  18. Oh yeah? Well, fossu too, buddy! Oh, a word... uh... fossil
  19. Oh Jeez. I was following a pickup truck down the highway with a set of those under it. We were going about 60-65, but the air currents were making them swing ever-so-gently. I followed that damn truck for miles. Almost missed my exit. :AH-HA_wink:

  21. Yeah no, every morning when I go out to the garage, it's the same damned thing. "What are you pissed off about now?", I ask. Never a reply, just that same frozen, P.O.'d expression.
  22. And that is one sweet Stude. Studebaker started out making horse-drawn wagons and such, too, from what I foggily recall...
