    Hmmm

That is not an original split bumper car... the original split bumpers had an Enduro surround around the grille, this car has the standard front end, someone put those split bumpers on it. Also, the rusty A-pillars could be a sign of serious structural rust, as it is coming from the inside out. Did you check the hinge pillars by opening the doors and looking inside? Just trying to be helpful.
  2. I like those too. There's a light blue over dark blue Yukon parked at a used car dealership near where I work, I pass it every day. I'm not sure what kind of back doors it's got though, or the mileage.

  4. Harry is an effective mechanism for posting outside the box. He's a rabblerouser, to be sure, sometimes for fun, sometimes for evil. I don't understand why so many are picking on Josh for being gay. Leave him alone about the gay stuff, please. If he is or isn't, it's his business whether he wants to share it with the group. I haven't seen any real evidence here that he leans that way. As far as the administration of his official duties here, that thread has been posted.
  5. Yes... these pictures bring to mind the current GTO... just a bit dated and "off" from what Americans lust for. We have to have confidence in the GMNA design team though, especially after the spectacular Camaro Concept. Keep the faith. We've all heard so many good things about our next Impala.

  7. I'm dumbfounded but happy you're done with your search. I just hope all those features keep working. Best of luck with it, Vipes.

    Car shopping

I would seriously go for your front runner if I were in your situation. The "hail sale" info further explains the low price. If the hail damage isn't too bad and it's in overall good condition otherwise, that's the one. Drive it, see how it behaves. The back seat is huge on those things, plus with the hatchback... dude it's one of the most versatile cars on the road.

  12. At Ocean City for the annual Spring Cruise, I saw a two door Echo in black primer with misaligned body panels, a fart can exhaust, stock size tires with Pep Boys wheel covers and one of those aluminum, adjustable wings that was about a foot too wide for the car. Not totally sure it was for sale.

    ....

Evok, if you want to be respected for your "insider" position, you should refrain from jumping into this tit-for-tat, personal attack merry-go-round that degenerates certain threads here. How can you expect to be viewed as having the real deal when you allow some questioning members to pull you out of your catbird seat and onto the ground for a mud wrestling contest? Sure, some people aren't going to agree with what you have to say, but a professional person like yourself needs to keep his composure under pressure.
  14. I was in bad shape this evening thinking about him.

Cool. Is that your "Don't mess with me, muthaf@#ka" pose? :AH-HA_wink:

  17. Wow, dude held his tongue pretty well. I'm not sure I could have been so measured in my response.

    Woooooo!

Well, congratulations on the graduation, Nos. This should be a busy, but excellent summer for you.

  23. Camino, you know I wasn't being a perv, right? I was just trying to bring a grin. I woke up yesterday morning with my back hurting and I don't know what I did to it. Now when I turn a certain way, or even breathe wrong... ouch. Also my water heater is leaking (it's in the garage against the wall to the laundry room) and now the baseboard trim in my laundry room is black with mold from the water. I bought a new water heater last weekend, but my mom's boyfriend (he's a plumber/electrician) couldn't come and help me hook it up until this afternoon when I get off work, so I've been piling towels around it to try to stop the dripping and I have a fan going in the laundry room to try to keep it as dry as possible... so bleh. I hope things even out for you soon, sir.
  24. Hmmm... a late 80's, early 90's Jetta isn't a bad car. It seems VWs love high mileage, and they were honest VWs then, not pseudo luxury cars.
