  1. I don't want Chevrolet, Pontiac, or Buick to go all Euro on us. Hopefully it's the cool new ION.
  2. Yeah, I'm over the Viper. The Z06 is King.
  3. Well, either the van hit the Lincoln at bumper level, or, if it hit above, my theory was wrong about the crush.

It's very good. I'll have to give it more listening time to gain a real perspective and opinion though.

Everybody's goin' to a party, have a real good time... That song is so schizophrenic. I don't really care for System. Kanye's new cd has about 4 songs on it that I really like. The rest is too hardcore for me. Depeche Mode has a new cd coming out. I was heavy into them for years and wish them renewed success. I am a fan of what used to be called Alternative Rock. I also love 60's Psychedelia. I'm a Beatles fan. The Doors and Jefferson Airplane are also great. And who can forget Dusty Springfield?
  6. The G6 is a very goodlooking car, coupe and sedan. I just love the flowwww of the body. A white GTP coupe with Ebony cloth, polished wheels and a six speed (no other options needed, it's got Monsoon), would be awesome.
  7. Very nice. Solstice is such a beautiful car, it makes me want to sell my truck, buy an old S-10 for work, and place an order for an Emerald Green one.
  8. We're lucky to have such a strong community.
  9. Do you have any more info on it, Harley? Like the drivetrain? Was it a 350 or 400? Auto or manual? I'm interested.
  10. I think you spelled it right. After seeing the new Opel 2 door Xover, I'm glad this was stillborn. A Chevy with a Subaru drivetrain? Nah... Saab was a better match for that quirkiness.
  11. Looks to me to be a proposal for the '71 Eldorado.
  12. Yeah, the one in the sig is '80 or newer. The car was reskinned. The hoodline is lower, the back glass is more upright. On the Fleetwood, the quarter glass is smaller than the Deville, more formal. The front bumper doesn't wrap fully around to the wheelwells like the '77-'79. Overall, it's just a smidgen less squared off than the earlier car.

Drive slow homie! Nah mute, not switchin' teams. Just recognizing.
  14. (Dudes, there's no driveshaft... it's a fake.)
  15. Sixty8... I most certainly did not mean anything when I made my silly comment. If you were here I'd pinch 'em all for good luck.
  16. I'm going to say Corvette. The mirrors and B-pillar give it away. EDIT: clicked on the link... the B-pillar does not match Corvette's, duh, but the mirrors do.
  17. Nah, it's based on a Pontiac Ventura. The ribbed tails, grille, and finely-finned wheel covers (all production) give it away. I'm interested in reading something on this one. I actually like the '75-'79 X bodies for some reason.
  18. Oh man, congrats, Sixty8! I love the crisp '77-'79 B, C, and D bodies. Looking forward to the pics!
  19. I didn't consider the PT Cruiser because I forgot the original intent was to lure younger buyers. That's how ingrained my "old people's car" image is for the little guy.
  20. Better put that thing in high gear, Paulie, bingo's about to start! :)
  21. I chose Dodge Neon because they're sooooo crappy. I have yet to see one come in for collision repair that wasn't trashed by the owner.
  22. Uh, is this somehow supposed to justify your nipple situation? (((Sixty8))) Just playing! http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif
  23. I chose Scion xB. I see many more boomers driving them than yutes.
  24. Well, without much consideration... Honda Element Honda Civic Scion xB VW Beetle VW Golf VW Jetta new-age Impala (surprising. I see a lot of these with rims being driven by younger folk) Monte Carlo I agree with much of what has been posted already.
  25. I picked Buick Century, both the '82-'96 A body, and the '97-current W. The size is manageable, it's comfortable, virtually maintenance-free, and it has inoffensive looks. I find that old people in general love their A-bodies something fierce.
