  1. Yeah, I was looking at that page on the site. To be honest, before I purchased either of those, I'd swap my grille, which is black with chrome bar (Z71) over to the one with the body-color frame and chrome bar. Then maybe get those stainless pop-in inserts for the mesh part.
  2. Yeah, I'm still not hongry after all that. I'll prolly not eat until 5 or so. It's a lazy Sunday thing. ^_^
  3. So I was out walking this morning, and part of my route is along a road that's outside of my development. I was amazed at the amount of trash people just throw out their car windows... like it's the middle ages or something. A big potato chip bag with half the chips strewn everywhere, coffee and soda cups and bottles, an orange condom, (used, ew) etc. etc... what are people thinking? How can people be so damn TRASHY? I sincerely hope everyone here takes their trash home and sticks it in the wastebasket.
  4. I eat breakfast every day, but during the week it's cold cereal, fruit, and juice. Once in a while on Sundays, I splurge and have a nice, big, hot breakfast. I just finished 4 eggo waffles, two eggs, and six pieces of bacon. Feelin' fat and happy! Does anyone else go all out for a weekend breakfast? What do you like to make?
  5. That green Cutlass is sooo cool and is absolute proof that America is the greatest nation on earth. Rock on, quantum! The gold valve covers... real Olds power! And it looks like it has factory air. What a great find.
  6. Miller, I'm pretty sure we all care about it. It's a good looking car, dude. And the photos are great. Funny thing though, I had to study the photo with your car parked diagonally across the road, it looked like oncoming traffic! Now I see the Civic Hybrid, Grand Cherokee, and Tundra (?) are parked. Thanks for posting, man. If it were me, college would be a drag without my 6 speed Z.
  7. Who knows, some hot chicks might be turned on by being kidnapped by a dude like you, LA. I would get to know them first and plan the whole thing together, of course.
  8. Seriously... anyone who thinks people are going to stop experimenting (rebels and trouble makers? it's NATURAL) really doesn't have the faintest grasp of what makes us human. As far as "recruiting children", that smacks of pedophilia, which is a heinous mental illness, as far as I am concerned. It needs to be diagnosed and treated, with the people being kept away from potential victims. It has nothing to do with homosexuality, which is a natural, healthy variation. Recruiting adults is much more fun anyway. (Kidding! This "recruiting" thing is so ridiculous). Having a homosexual experience doesn't make you gay. That comes from inside, NOT outside. It also doesn't ruin your life. I actually think bisexuals have it best, especially if all parties are aware and understanding. Who wouldn't want to double your chances of getting a date on Friday night?
  9. I think that Impy is a '78. I can't tell what year the Monte is ('78-'80) because the header panel is gone. I know the Monte did not have air conditioning because the far right side dash vent hole is covered with a chintzy piece of plastic. Thanks for posting, Vipes. I always find this kind of stuff interesting. There was a '55 Bel Air sedan in the woods just across from our property line on the farm. Too far gone (imo) for a project. Looked in similar condition to the Monte, actually.
  10. Yup, that was my point, thedriver. Even with the explosion of multi-door cabs, I believe there is a market for regular cab trucks.
  11. Chevrolet Camaro coupe/convertible Chevrolet Caprice or Bel Air sedan and wagon Chevrolet Monte Carlo Pontiac Grand Prix or Bonneville sedan and wagon Pontiac GTO coupe/convertible Buick Riviera coupe/convertible Buick Invicta sedan/wagon spread over all those models and bodystyles and with the potential sales volumes packed into those model names as authentic versions of themselves, I see no reason why the platform wouldn't be a blockbuster for GM.
  12. '73 Nova hatch, painted all black except for the rim of the grille and the rims, looked and sounded good. Pre-'73 Maverick coupe, gray metallic, looked and sounded good, nice rims.
  13. razor, you're ok. It's alright if you don't understand something you've never been involved with. When I was still dating girls I always felt like it was for show. It was joyless. I never had that urge, ya know? Just like you never had the urge to have sex with your guy friends. It's pretty much the same. Sex with women was just going through the motions. I wanted to be just friends. Guys are expected to have sex with girls, so I forced myself to believe for a while that what I was feeling toward other guys was normal... that everyone felt the same, but didn't act on it... once I acted on it, I knew that being gay was the way I was designed and I couldn't deny it to myself... although I continue to deny it to the people who mean the most to me... my family (not that I've been asked directly.)

    The New Civic

Hehehe... brie? Thanks Cspec... I went there last night and built a light blue EX coupe manual. I was wondering when the cars would hit the lots.

How about one of those trough thingies? I am not sure what they're called, but it's a porcelain slab mounted on the wall with a trough at floor level. You flush and the water runs down like a waterfall.
  16. I prefer the '67... check out the wide-set headlamps, narrow grille, and concave center hood section... all used later on Saturn S-series and various Oldsmobiles... including the last ones, Alero, Intrigue, Aurora.
  17. "The coupe market is dead." NO WONDER with what we were given.

    The New Civic

They can definitely advertise the front end as "pedestrian friendly", it's sooo smooth. Overall, I like the car except for the dashboard and steering wheel. I want to see an EX coupe.

Good Lord, Nos. You're hopeless! Aww... quantum. Nice photo. You're handsome. Gerardo, lookin' cool. Goodlooking lady, too!
  22. Ok. My local dealer has an awesome looking (but not AWD, damn) Laser Blue Torrent with the 17"rims and Ebony cloth interior. It looks very sharp in that scheme. $26k!
  23. Well, I did it again today... more JLs: white '70 Monte Carlo, black '62 VW Type 2 pickup, silver '06 HHR, and a red '73 Eldorado convertible. I also got a gorgeous Jada Toys DUB City red '63 Corvette.
  24. I thought you were going to Allentown today? I was going to ask how the show was.
