  1. The taillights are changed. They no longer use a clear lens. They are now "jeweled", with a red lens. I am interested in seeing this car in person. It looks promising. The dash not only looks a bit different, it looks like it has tighter tolerances, something it sorely needed. I still prefer the flat spoiler to the stand-up one. The flat one lives on as standard on the '06 LS (and LT, I think.) First thing I'd do is purchase the flat spoiler for a Laser Blue SS.
  2. Los Angeles, that Rover in your sig has a unique blend of sporty/classy style. Do you have a link to more info? The wheels remind me of Buick's classic chrome and black road wheel design.
  3. I like it. I also like the current S/V40. They're Volvo... distilled. Sweet!
  4. Paulie, don't you dare say that! God loves us too, even if most denominations don't.
  5. ...and you came on Sunday at 9:02 am? :P
  6. That is too cool. Love it! B)
  7. rkm, that Scarab is one heck of a hot tub. And the dude has his diving goggles on.
  8. :( Good idea. I no sooner "introduce" my friend to the group (after we've been seeing each other about 2 months)... and it feels like it's over. He left me a message on the phone before I got home from work Friday saying he'd call back... and I'm still waiting. I called 4 times. No movie date last night. Just ocn and his little doggie, home alone. I'm sad and mystified. We got together on Labor Day, then talked every night on the phone until I missed his call on Friday.
  9. Is that George Costanza?
  10. Yeah, it had a conventional trunk lid, no hatch in the back.
  11. Ouch. The radiator support and right frame rail are sure to have some damage. That's a lot of labor to put into a car that age, even as clean as that one is. :(
  12. I see at least two of those fastback late-70's Olds Cutlass sedans fairly often. One light blue, the other tan. Too bad they weren't more popular... I really like the Buick Century Turbo Coupe on that bodystyle, and the Olds 4-4-2 isn't bad looking either, but it has less motor than the Buick of that time. A '78 Olds 4-4-2 with a 455 Rocket... now you're talkin'!
  13. Big, hot, gorgeous '69 Buick Electra 225 convertible... bright red with Buick's road wheels, black top down, black vinyl bench interior. Magnificent.
  14. That B-body El Camino has a manufacturer's plate on it. Damn! Also, the light green Nomad concept is very cool. I would have left the roof fixed for reliability (or lift-off maybe), but the little sliding doors and the general style of it were always a favourite of mine. And who can forget the little sweet baby: Kappa Nomad.
  15. I miss him something awful right now, but he's at his house, sleeping. He works 2nd shift. :(
  16. The H3 looks great in white. I love the look of chrome against white with dark windows. That interior looks sharp. Congratulations.
  17. I thought I recognized it, but that small blue moustache is throwing me off...
  18. Let's hope the Solstice coupe concept doesn't suffer the same fate as the original Corvette-based Corvair.

    Pictures!

Mustang, why'd you ever cut your hair? You look so good like that!
  20.  Yup, he's a great guy.
  21. I'd love to see an HHR professionally chopped into a pickup truck, with rounded rear cab corners, the whole bit.
  22. We have some base Cobalt coupes right now. They are equipped decently, including cd and air, for $14.5k. There's a Blue Granite one that has caught my eye and made me think about what I really need in a vehicle.
  23. My friend Edwin wants to see it. I think we're going tomorrow night.
  24. Yeah, $2.99.9, *whew*, what a relief! Allentown is very near where I go camping, Vipes. It's not that far from me.
  25. Yes, it could be a sticky situation, if things turn out well. http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif I've been seeing a very nice person for a while now, and you'd never know he's gay. He's a regular guy except he loves The Golden Girls. Can't wait to see him again, hopefully tonight, but more likely tomorrow night, he works second shift... I'm really hoping this works out for us!
