  1. Thanks Mr. dfelt! Apple Fest over to my house today. Baked pork chops in apple cider. Homemade apple pie. And I had too much pie filling, so I had it on the side of one of the chops. Lunch packed for two days. And I officially hate a mandolin slicer.
  2. Current model is kind of boxy, pendulum swings back to swoop, I see.
  3. I lost a little piece of me on Friday, and I am not sorry, because it was a 3mm colon polyp, sent out for aptitude testing.
  4. Accord does not fit in with that group, Good Lord no...
  5. But, but... I thought it was a "crappy midsize truck"???
  6. https://history.gmheritagecenter.com/wiki/index.php/1966_Electrovair_II_Concept SUCH great strides in electric car range since then! Oh why have I not been on board before now?
  7. Are my eyes that bad? I did not catch a glimpse of the Bolt interior in that video... all I see is a kid with a laptop in there, very briefly.
  8. Out of all the vehicles I've owned, I've never had one that so consistently beat the ratings on the window sticker as my 2013 Beetle TDi.
  9. I am like the opposite of a Toyota fan, and of course I love my truck and feel it is a superior product. I would love to see Ford and Dodge get back into the small truck market. I want to see GM add production capacity, to fulfill these trucks' true potential to bust the segment wide open. Toyota trucks were better back when they were tiny, rust notwithstanding. This Tacoma is just a poorly executed product. In my own test driving experience, the Tacoma seats you on the floorboards, rides like it has no springs, and gets bad fuel mileage for what it is. My wish list for the Colorado: Regular cab Diesel available in all cabs Manual transmission availability with V6 and diesel ZR2 production version Some sort of 2WD sport trim package (love the 2016 Z71 Trail Boss) Tan interior (GMC Canyon has it)
  10. 1973 Grand Prix
  11. I don't have a problem with the Dodge Challenger.
  12. How's this for French?
  13. SCREW YOU!! IT'S A JAPANESE CAR DESIGNED BY THE FRENCH!!! THE FRICKIN' FREEEEEENCH!!!!!!! ...no more energy drinks for me. Oh my, sir. I am sorry you took the bait, as that was simply a random thought not directed at anyone in pat tick uh larr.
  14. BOZOS, RETREAT FROM YOUR CONSOLES!
  15. Nothing like it anywhere in America.
  16. I put the Fiesta in this group because it is a lesser (not lessor) vehicle than the Sonic, except for the ST, which rockets past the half-hearted Sonic RS. The 1.6 in the standard Fiesta is just a weak sister compared to the 1.8 and 1.4t in the Sonic.
  17. Isn't it beautiful?
  18. I was an LX 5.0 notchback fan back in the day. New Mustang is a sweet car with the 5.0. Not so sure about the 2.3 Ecobust. V6 acceleration with V8 fuel economy = not a good deal. I wanted to like the EB 'Stang. I'm really innerested in seeing how the 2.0t Camaro does, fuel mileage wise in real world.
  19. It reassures me that they clearly mention in the article that they will be using GM engines.
  20. Thank you, balthazar, for some useful links. My opinion has been stated on this matter, but in deference to Viper, I will not restate it here.
  21. Good choice, although I love the Tucker more for its engineering than its looks.
  22. The CX-3 is a good choice. I've been looking at these on our lot. One of our cleanup guys at work just bought one for himself. Only thing is, I'm a little bit country, and the CX-3 is a little bit rock and roll.
  23. Totally not a fan.
  24. Oh really? I've been reading too and that's what I took from it. Your version is the lesser (not lessor) of two evils. I hope you are right. Still, MPG is one of the paramount concerns of a diesel buyer.
