  1. Ahhhh.... made some delicious hot chocolate with milk, Hershey's Special Dark chocolate chips, cinnamon and cayenne pepper. I recommend it!
  2. I am sure the owners of our dealership have been briefed, but those of us lower on the food chain are wondering what this means for us. As it is, we don't keep Genesis models on the lot, but by order only. The Equus is a Hyundai, not a Kia. The retired father of our owner drives an Equus, it is a grander car than Buick's best, another brand we sell. I can see this working for them, and I can see them being a threat to Infiniti at least, if not Lexus. The naming scheme sucks horribly. But the Genesis name has a certain amount of recognition. Clever of them to begin how they did, imo.
  3. Thank you.... I am..... amused.... at your typo. KimJongUn2011_large.jpg I proofread EVERYTHING.
  4. That's her problem if she can't tape shut a window glass while she waits for a window motor. That was in 1996. This is 2015. And Audi is not the high and mighty Tesla. Tesla is portraying themselves as being on point... high tech solutions and all that, sooo superior to the rust belt and all that old school way of doing things. PARTS DISTRIBUTION HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Stop acting like a n00b. HILARIOUS. Customer is in a rental car per the terms of his insurance policy (for military folks and their families) that he negotiated with them. Customer's wife drives a 2015 Silverado High Country which she loves. They are not hurting for transportation. But part of owning an expensive (I hesitate to use the term "luxury" to describe Tesla) car is the understandable notion that you will be treated accordingly. Customer is a very nice guy. He chose us because his insurance company recommended us and he stated he was happy to hear their recommendation because he knows we are a quality shop. For someone who prides himself on a job well done, it affects me when a car is sitting gathering dust. I don't know how much more childlike I can be in my honesty.
  5. You are right about one tiny aspect of your argument. It is a joke. And you sound like Hillary Clinton... "what difference is it..."? Really? This is a company that does not want you to look behind the curtain. This is a company that holds themselves in great regard on every aspect of how they do business... but they cannot come up with a proper parts distribution network to service their customer.
  6. Truth is this: I posted a while back, and it is time stamped, when a customer dropped off his car to us for repair due to an accident. Today I posted a relevant fact that contradicts what some sheep have been made to believe. We have done all we can do for the customer until we get the parts that were ordered too many days ago. I guarantee you we would have gotten parts for an $80k Benz, BMW, etc., within two days. This is plain and simple $h!ty service. And... I am the customer in this case. Not impressed with the treatment I've gotten so far. The owner of the car should not have to suffer for this. He should have his car back by now. He is a local man who worked hard and bought an expensive car with his own money. He did not want to send his car from York to Devon for a minor deer accident. He should not have to. The Tesla dealership did not have the necessary parts in stock... THEY HAD TO BE ORDERED FROM TESLA. THE CAR WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN FIXED ANY QUICKER IF IT HAD BEEN SHIPPED ALL THE WAY TO DEVON for the repair. Got it now?
  7. You are personally attacking me, my profession and my customer. In response to me stating a fact. Don't go down that road.
  8. Blah blah blah... you don't have a clue of what you're talking about, so ZIP IT.
  9. Hiked some beautiful Susquehanna river scenery, took some inspiring nutscaping photos. I'll post them here as soon as I get them back from the Fotomat.
  10. We still do not have our Tesla parts. What a great company to deal with. Top notch service, seen by me first hand.
  11. I am glad the Colorado and Canyon are selling at plant capacity. I am sure they wish they had a bit more capacity to satisfy demand. I would be totally stoked if GM decided to sell the Colorado 7 here as a new generation Trailblazer, with Duramax power it would satisfy a craving (witness Hyundai's Tucson concepts at SEMA and internet rumors of a Bronco revival, you'll see others are picking up on this yearning for a real off-roader). The Trax is a good little vehicle, but I wish it had a bit more verve in its design aesthetic. Would be cute with a Z71 variant, or if they want to stay semi-urban (although I get a functional, country vibe from the Trax), even an RS with the bigger turbo engine. The Impala is such a beautiful car, it is a shame to me that the fullsize sedan segment appears to be comatose, could this be GM's way of sending the Impala nameplate back to car heaven with style and grace? I love that the new Malibu looks like a junior Impala. I hope it does well. New Cruze should continue to do well. I believe a Cruze coupe would be a fantastic addition, as well as a hatchback and wagon. The new Camaro is such a knockout too, it is laser focused on its mission.
  12. Happy Birthday, Drew. I was the member who posted Happy Birthday threads all the time, but that tradition kind of fell by the wayside. But anyway, enough of being nostalgic. Drew turns 57 today!
  13. That time when you had 8 tow-ins that require teardown within 3 days and they all have to be written and uploaded within 72 hours.
  14. This is an old list, most of those vehicles are out of production. The Veracruz is long gone, for example.
  15. Wow, this news knocks me out flat, four days.
  16. Someone traded in an Excel to us last week. I guess they chose that name because of its ability to burn oil and rust out.
  17. All those cargo ships, carrying vehicles from Japanese ports...
  18. When I order my Bolt, I want an LS7 soundtrack. You heard it here first, folks!
  19. Is that real engine sound, or electronically enhanced, as Ford has been wont to do in the last few years?
  20. Hi Roman! Are you from Poland?
  21. Click on this!
  22. Nice update, sir.
  23. GM is the only company with enough cars this old still on the road to even warrant a recall. Makes me proud.
