  1. Simple fact is, GM makes the best trucks overall.
  2. Put down your pumpkin spice everything (PLEASE) get out there and scare up some cool or unusual vehicle spots... then post them here, in the October 2015 Car Spotters Thread!
  3. Well it is an Imperial body... with GM sport mirrors... and what appear to be Caprice wheel covers.
  4. I would like to see them bring the Colorado 7 to the U.S. market as a Trailblazer/Envoy, with gas 3.6 and Duramax availability.
  5. I just got the renewal notice for the domain name... .and for the first time ever... I hesitated. That's what some people around here are making me feel about my own website. Yeah, but sometimes the traitors come from within. The downfall of this website won't be caused by people like Bong, Ccap, Olds, Cp, and a myriad others, proven, reliable and the real deal when it comes to class. My interaction with this website is sheer amusement. And balking at stupid rhetoric. Or petty entitlements.
  6. Don't wag that thing at me.
  7. These days, a brisk 2-mile walk outside, or time on the treadmill at the gym while checking the eye candy is sufficient for me.
  8. What is "google"? (he said as he put down his cup of Syrian yogurt).
  9. I have a perverse fetish for the black bumper, base model Silverado shortbed regular cab 4X4. In Rainforest green with 4.3L V6 and six speed manual (if it existed) transmission, and 3.73 rear gears with the excellent G80 locking differential. I would install Cragar Soft 8 black steelies with beefy BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, black side out. rubber floors, but power windows/locks/mirrors and keyless entry. Dark windows. If that truck existed in the form of a person, I would be all kinds of in love.
  10. ? Your imagination runs wild, sir. Spandex is not now and will never be in my closet. I would like to own a cruiser with 3 or 5 speeds and knobby tires, if it exists. I find 21 speeds redundant and needlessly complicated.
  11. Well I did leave here and google before I posed the question.
  12. Nope. My bike is hanging upside down in my garage, where it has remained since 2003 when I moved back to Pennsylvania. I am sure the tires would crumble if I pinched them.
  13. Well I took two years of high school French, but I am not sure I could get the gist of your link there. So you're saying there are no current pollution controls governing the aviation industry?
  14. My three beefs with GM's diesel midsize trucks: Not available in extended cab. Not available with manual transmission. And not available in retail base, or fleet trim. A base, 2WD extended cab Duramax would make a fantastic fleet vehicle.
  15. Whenever I see a middle-aged man on a bicycle, I inevitably think "DUI". Is that bad?
  16. VW TDi loyalists are defending their brand all over the place. The TDi is a great engine. If the Amarok were sold here with TDi and a manual transmission, in a regular or extended cab with 4WD at a competitive price, I would have bought one. That is not to say I love my Colorado any less. I cannot argue with 23.5-25 MPG out of a 305-hp gasoline V6 in a 4WD pickup truck. If the majority of VW TDi owners love their cars and are not overly concerned by what has transpired, then they should be treated as the authority on what has happened. All the while, what pollution controls are in effect to govern the aviation industry?
  17. First-gen Lightning, black, surprisingly not rusty.
  18. Yes it is disheartening to see what has become of the C&G I used to know.
  19. Don't get me started on Stefano Dimera.
  20. So now we have the 500, the 500L, the 500X (my favorite) and the 124 Spider. Hopefully some showroom traffic will develop.
  21. It is time for the Navigator to be put out to pasture.
  22. I understand you're a newfie around these parts, and I hate to dog you about this, but if you keep ponying up these silly, neigh, groan-worthy jokes, you can just climb back on your high horse and ride out of here. Rein it in a little bit, why must you pommel us with these? Hay, just cool it, don't saddle the thread! (Hmmm... I seem to have a Newfound sense of confidence in my barnstorming ability, if I kennel say so myself, doggone it.)
  23. Is that that dark "forest"-like green? If so, that's a super sharp color. I've kind of been loving all of the really dark greens as of late from GM and Ford. Like the Cruze and Silverado/Sierra offer a dark green that I love and then Ford with the Guard on the Mustsnf and F150. Oh, and the Edge, I believe. Agreed on both counts. Love Rainforest Green (would have ordered that color for my Colorado if it weren't an extra cost color) and Ford's Guard.
