  1. Yesterday, a crazy commute. I got behind an early VW Beetle pickup truck. Olive drab, including the wheels, and all steel. With the load floor level, above the engine, and a VW symbol embossed into the engine cover. It was very professional looking. Now I want to investigate. And a DeLorean.
  2. One word: Dodge. Dodge, for Chrissakes...
  3. "Yes, this the wacko contingent. We need more coal to fuel our electric plants so we can charge up our electric cars that are just so wonderful for the environment!"
  4. It has everything to do with sales figures. These wackos are trying to create demand for a limited-use product that nobody wants to spend their hard-earned money on. By making people pay for incentives... people WHO DO NOT WANT THE PRODUCT.
  5. There can be no point attached to that. It is ridiculous.
  6. These are people who have so much money they can afford to buy such an expensive toy without worrying about all the negative consequences, not middle class people who are the bedrock of this great nation, who need something real.
  7. Soooo... with an infrastructure that supposedly already exists (?) why aren't people buying them? I mean, if they are NO DIFFERENT from a real car... then what's the problem?
  8. http://www.edmunds.com/tesla/model-s/2013/long-term-road-test/2013-tesla-model-s-ominous-noise.html http://www.edmunds.com/tesla/model-s/2013/long-term-road-test/2013-tesla-model-s-monitoring-the-rear-wheel-alignment.html Jeez, I'm glad I googled. Tesla Model S seems to be a high-priced, golf cart, POS. How stupid.

  11. Pardon? What does that mean in ENGRISH? And, shall we review? Sales numbers do not lie, silly.
  12. Diesel fuel is not nearly as explosively combustible as gasoline, but yeah, it could happen. It wouldn't please me as much as this story out of Mexico does, though.
  13. October 18th, 2013. Tesla Model S.
  14. This thread is simply fantastic. The wide-eyed dreamers who believe there will be 3.3 million EVs on the road by 2025 are the delusional ones. And so far... the public sides with my view more than the sad, nerdy dreamers. So have your fun, dreamers, it won't change REALITY.
  15. OK, I'll try it next time. Thanks!
  16. That hideous little round door on the front fender ruins the ELR for me. Not sure how it could throw off the whole design, but it do. Also, the so obviously fake, blanked-off upper radiator grille.
  17. You do know cladding had been banished before all this murder and mayhem, right?
  18. Why is Giuseppe drilling Pinocchio in the ass in your avatar?
  19. There's a light that never goes out...
  20. There are some interesting Mark Stehrenberger renderings on the internet depicting the new Colorado. It looks pretty good, according to the long-time illustrator.

  22. As of this posting, I like the new CTS. For me, "overly exaggerated bits" have made the best Cadillacs through the years.
  23. Have a good one!
  24. Pickup prices are ridiculously high, I very much agree with that statement. To jack the price up another $1500 on a brand new model that still needs to find its feet in the market seems premature, greedy and arrogant. But the dealers are certainly not blameless.
  25. Maroons!
