  1. I'm the same as you, Mr. ... Dart. The evidence is all over this board.
  2. Did you just call me "blo", or was that another of your ridiculous, unending typos? The S-10 is still being sold in some places, and the current Colorado is a global truck, with "minimal market changes".
  3. Hello Mr. Shift.
  4. Moltie you've gotta have one!
  5. Pretty little car. I imagine these powertrains will translate to the Jeep Patriot replacement, as well.
  6. VERY sharp *ouch*. In the vid, I see chrome door handles on the R/T, in the photos, it has body color. I like the sport trim/chrome handle look, as it's not done anywhere else. The Limited wheels remind me of Cruze Eco wheels, but it seems they have fewer spokes for easier cleaning. Overall, based on the gallery and video, I'd say this is the best looking compact sedan on the market. Hopefully it will be trouble-free for lots of miles.
  7. Hyper, the S-10 is still being sold in some places, and the Colorado is also a global truck.
  8. e-Assist? Ewwww... Voltec? ho-hum. Unfettered internal combustion? Yay!/majority of auto execs w/access to market trends. Love the idear of RWD 4 seater coupe, though, with forced-induction Ecotec or V6. And going smaller, maybe a rakish 2-door hatch version of Sonic. Seems like some decent GM stuff is gonna be there. Maybe somebody will spring a leak beforehand???
  9. Insane, yes, but wicked too.
  10. Good job Jacket! I hope it works out for you. Stick your Challenger on Craigslist and keep moving it to the top 'til it sells for the money you need. Concentrate on your education. Educated men are more likely to be able to acquire gainful employment with which to buy BRAND NEW white Accords... or something with a soul, your choice.
  11. As an investment, it would be Impala, but I'd go crazy wanting to drive it rather than preserve it. It was evidence that GM understood their history and wanted to do it justice in the end.
  12. In my opinion, Datsun is a company that can bring out a pickup smaller than Frontier and, with proper marketing, sell the heck out of them. They were the Japanese company that really broke through in the 70's with their pickups. Frontier is certainly a nice truck, but it's a gas hog for the size. Without sacrificing midsize capability, a diesel is needed to lighten the drain on wallets.
  13. Can I interest yoo in a nice Verano, son?
  14. This auto exec agrees. I am totally skeptical. Happy to be in good company.
  15. I've been reading different places today this is a preliminary rating and will go down in production trim.
  16. It does appear to have sloppy jamb work. Who knows, maybe it's a basket case under a quickie paint job.
  17. The Ford has a useful front quarter glass (it helped with visibility in my Fiesta is all I'm saying) instead of the ubiquitous black plastic triangle, and with their reach-around at the back there appears to be a big enough piece of glass that you can see through. The hood looks high enough to see from the driver's seat (something I really like about my Patriot). The exterior spare is problematic from my perspective as a bodyshop person, but it adds to the macho feel of the micro ute. Mokka lacks testosterone based on the spy shot that, to be fair, appears to be altering my perception because of a telephoto lens. Both of these infant spider monkeys would find a niche, with the Ecosport looking a lot younger, more fun to drive. Encore... a micro near luxury ute... definitely a new category in the marketplace for the US that will find its own set of adherents.
  18. Paulie, this might be the perfect vehicle for you. Super easy size and probably good mileage if it uses the 1.4t. If it has the quietness and features Buick is becoming known for, we may have found your next car... AND Albert's!
  19. Interior needs a bit of a polishing. But it does have a/c, and per the photos, the body seems to be in good shape.
  20. The size of it doesn't matter to me. Once again, it's the fact that Opel is leading Buick styling. Envision was more elegant looking than this because it was styled to represent Buick, not Opel, from stem to stern. Encore, from what I can procure from viewing the images provided by the OEM, is just a Mokka in an Izod polo, Dockers and Docksiders instead of dungarees, a t-shirt and flip-flops. In black with brown leather interior it might approach Buick coolness... after dark. But in daylight???
  21. Those sketches don't bother me because they're way too exaggerated to be recognizable as something production-ready. The new foglamp nacelles totally remind me of Corolla and Camry. They make me unhappy because of that. I cannot wait to see the coupe.
  22. A plenty nice looking interior.
  23. Every month it's Compass this, Compass that, yet the Patriot that hardly ever gets advertised still outsold it for the month and the year. It's clear that with two such similar vehicles in the lineup, which style Jeep intenders prefer.
