  1. I like it. It is a tribute to a lot of sporty Chevrolets besides the Corvair and her Concepts. I see a little Mako Shark in there, and ultimately, '63 Corvette. The idea of a mid-engine, sub-Corvette sports car in the lineup is an exciting one... as the 'Vette should remain front engine/RWD forever. This is a great way to bring to fruition 40+ years of rumor surrounding a mid-engine Corvette, while avoiding gambling with the holy name of Corvette. This blows any and all tiny mid-engine sports cars away. Toyota Mister2 quickly becomes Number2 (in the bathroom sense, ahem.) Electric propulsion is the only questionable aspect of it... that and a windshield and roof. A 2.0 Turbo Ecotec and 6-speed manual would make it real, along with some productionized details.
  2. Ford Accessories All-Weather floor mats and cargo liner. Maybe window tinting. Have fun putting a battery in your Intrepid, DF, Good Lord.
  3. Small and sexy, full of design cues used on later GM production cars. This one is important, happy it was saved.
  4. Thank you all once again for the B-day greetings. It wasn't bad, spent a good part of the day driving and eating (not at the same time though).
  5. "This baby will wail like an angle of death." <----- right up there with funniest/most badass sentence hiper has ever uttered on these boards.
  6. '81 Z28, black. For Sale in someone's front yard.
  7. Well thanks, guys. Much appreciated.
  8. ok ok, jeez. i was trying to throw them off.
  9. Simple, emboss the word "C H E V R O L E T" across the rear bumper cover. It would shut out aftermarket parts suppliers and add some detail to the design. Lots of cars have had this element... Saturn, Mustang, Buick...
  10. Your posts are already a couple of octaves higher than before. Beaver photos please.

    Cover your bases

I am a broken man. Broken men change their expectations.
  12. When it rains, it pours, and spots turn up everywhere... in this here thread right here. So let's start singin' in the rain!
  13. Bite on that, you stupid Tundra.
  14. I think it's brazen. And I am immensely proud of Chevrolet's acknowledgment and ownership of the Corvair and its unique chapter in their history. Even though it took 42 years for them to utter the word after the car went out of production. It does need a simple, powerful Ecotec if it reaches production, though.
  15. Hello Bill.
  16. The show car will be dynamite. The production car will be somewhat more meh, as has been Chevrolet's new tradition, re: Sonic and Colorado. That's my prediction.
  17. Drew, please call Lancaster and tell them to put in an Aldi down here.
  18. Why is this question even being asked? Yes. There's Automobile magazine's answer. Sheesh.
  19. Car is wicked cool. Dude is wet noodle.
  20. Hope it's been a good one, A. (hopefully this post won't be deleted)
  21. I really like the looks of this one: Trek Cruiseliner.
  22. Good luck to ya, GMTG74.
  23. Hiper said: "I have one question as for Europe. What GM North American car outside the limited success of the Corvette has done well in Europe?" (raises hand) OO OO, pick me! Is the answer "Saturn Astra"?
  24. "Face down, a$$ up, that's the way we like to..." oh nevermind. Hey it's got no pedals!
  25. GUYS... please remember, after he gets home from the operation, he will heretofore be known as Borgette on these boards. We don't want any awkward moments, m'kay?
