The front of the Ford looks cartoony compared to the GMC. The body on the Ford appears dated with this latest front end re-do. I like the seats in the King Ranch Ford, but I always thought the dash looked Playskool on the SD. How do tire sizes and types vary on the Ford and GMC? And Drew, you know you have to do the driveway test. Line that Ford up at exactly the same spot and see if it digs a hole.

Wish the new car was in silver for an apples-to-apples, but yes, the 2011 makes the earlier car look like it was made of Legos, and I've always liked the old car.

Over at Allpar I'm getting conflicting trunk capacity measurements for the old Fifth Ave/Gran Fury/Diplomat: either 15.6 or 17 cu ft. It prolly has to do with the placement of the spare tire, from what they say, the spare moved from the floor to up over the rear axle. How much trunk room does the new Charger/300 have? And I am also a fan of the old full bench seat bruisers, with their wide open interiors. Those truly were the days. Column shifters FTW!

A much more refined, seamless, and luxurious look than its predecessor, with heritage cues expertly incorporated into a modern and mature design. Like I mentioned before, the tail end reminds me of the '75-'78 Imperial/New Yorker, and that roofline reminds me of, well... a last-gen Dodge Diplomat and Plymouth Gran Fury, but in a good way. I forget if there ever was a Chrysler version without the Fifth Avenue's quarter vinyl top. But anyway, while more subtle, I am starting to like this equally to the Charger. Both cars give justice to their namesakes, which is more than can be said about some of GM's heritage-named cars.

This new Taurus is a bunch of bull (get it? Huh? Huh?).

I always liked this CUV, didn't even mind the 80's-retro interior in this CUV, but the refresh they've pulled off on this CUV is totally surgical, even Ford-like in its maximum return on investment. I think this CUV is much-improved. I'd drive one as a two-row CUV, for sure. CUV.
