80 year-old dude comes in today for an estimate on his 2011 white Fiesta SE hatch. An Amish buggy backed into it, and he was not pleased. I asked him how he likes the ka. He said "oh, it's beautiful", then proceeded to rip into it because it has a red digital readout on some of the dash and he cannot see it in bright sun. He lamented the fact it does not have a "rolling drum" instrument cluster... and I immediately thought of a first-gen Toronado.

Not sure if it's urban legend, but I got an email forward that states the Israelis have developed a scanner that detects explosives. The person carrying is calmly taken into an area away from the general public and detonated. Sounds cool!

I'm still at a loss as to how you did that, whether it has G20 (?) or G80 locking diff. It appears there is a little drop-off between macadam and gravel though, is it possible you stopped right at that moment, chocking the front wheels? This is a miniature disaster. -

Is the tailpipe a huge turnoff? Yes, diesel torque comes on in a relentless, artful wave unlike a gas engine. See, I've "built and priced" a Steel Green Silverado 1LT Duramax extended cab 4X4 so many times now it's ridiculous. The only thing that holds me back is the clunky Chevy website. If I lived in the country, had the money and a garage big enough, a Duramax would be in it. -

Whoa, I'll check up here at the local dealer tomorrow for one of those. It's funny, I can see the dealer prep kids searching for a decent spot to stick your dealer logo on that swoopy tail end. Is there room in the license plate cove to stick it so it's flat? It doesn't look too good where it's at.
