Hmmm... this taillight thing has me hooked now... I checked photos of Ranchero taillights, they don't match any year up to 1966... I wonder... could these be Holden Ute taillights? If so, WOW, too cool of an historical parellel. The delta shape and vertical ribs made me think Pontiac... but IIRC, Pontiacs had small, round backup lamps in the bumper around this time... if anyone can find Holden Ute rear end photos of this vintage, please post.

It happens a lot, ppl hitting other family members' cars in their own driveways. Someone, for some odd reason best attributed to "fate", will park in a different spot, or some other event out of routine will cause just such a sucky little crash. Mr. Swordfish, let us know how this episode evolves and resolves.

Come on GM, give us the G8 ST! Those taillights look like Pontiac wagon units to me... not Ford, maybe I'm wrong, I'd like to see some Pontiac wagon photos to confirm or deny.

Every year, it's the same. I swear to myself I will go out and enjoy myself... then I come up with a lame excuse for why I can't, and I end up staying home. It is windy as a cat's behind out there tonight, too darn cold to be out and about. If the wind lays, what will I do then? Come up with yet another excuse. I am a saboteur.
