  2. A Saturn MCE L-series knock-off. Snooze. Interior doesn't look bad.
  3. Ouch. Did you put factory parts in, or an aftermarket ring & pinion?
  4. Snazzy. So it's a two seater? One in front, one in back?

  6. Well, it's an automatic of some kind, you can tell that from the video. Ted, that is wicked as hell. Thanks for posting. There was never anything wrong with a Chevette, they were sturdy little cars.
  7. I read about this new gig. I think it's a play he's in, and his character is actually a bit messed up. Something about being in love with horses, he rides horses naked or something, from what I remember. He's still only 17, right?
  8. I saw the whole ABC piece off a list of news videos on my Comcast internet home page. The piece is, in my opinion, pro-GM. Gibson seems like Charlie in the Chocolate Factory as he walks through the design studio halls with Rick. Gibson also mentions prominently that GM has more models with 30 mpg or better than any of the Asian imports. And he stresses the staggering health care costs that are hobbling all of the domestic manufacturers, but in particular GM, stating how "generous" GM's employee health plan is, and how much they pay out a year vs. the Asian transplants. All in all, a very good piece. The title, understandably if taken out of context, seems anti-, but if you see the whole piece, it really isn't at all.
  9. "I have been chased and nearly bitten by the little assholes." Well, I'd be more concerned about their little teeth, but I guess it depends on which end is coming at you first. :AH-HA_wink: I had a skunk raise his tail at me once while walking through the cemetery near my house on a moonlit summer night past midnight. I yelled at him and he scampered off to stink it up somewhere else.

What, you didn't know it had Tundra balljoints when you bought it?

    Hey Macarena!

Satty, you went to a wedding reception somewhere in Kentucky?
  12. Sounds like a fun Saturday night.

  14. Uh, do you need someone to check them now for you, just to make sure it hasn't happened again?

At least Ellen is getting some, Bob. When you show your hatefulness, it just brings the whole thread down, because you incite negativity with your negativity. Your life is passing before you while you scowl from your Regal windshield. Since I know her (right?), I'm going to send Rosie over to give you a massage.
  17. Damn, that Rumen is totally a sweet little bug. More info, please. Sorry to hijack.

  19. Well thanks for that, Cappy. Very kind of you, sir. Mr. Dart, dryer sheets eliminate static. That's a tangible benefit, imo.
  20. Sixty4, yes, I can get some more pictures of the "Telltale Heart" Chrysler up soon. GMTG74, I am keeping the 17" factory rims, I like the style of them, but I have ordered a set of Goodyear Fortera Triple Tred tires for it, 265/65R17, to replace the wimpy 245/70R17 Generals. They should be the same height, but of course the Goodyears will be considerably meatier. The lowering shackles will level it. I wouldn't want to do anything more to lower the suspension, and I won't be putting 22 inch (?) rims on like the mega awesome Silvy 427 concept. Once I get my exhaust and my tonneau, along with the wider tires and the level attitude, I think it'll be looking pretty good.
  21. We'll see I guess.
  22. Hey, Halloween happens once a year. Might as well enjoy yourself.
  23. You're right, Cappy. Yes, it happened, the dryer sheet thing. But it wasn't devastating. I thought it was slightly amusing, actually. Just like someone said when I joined this gym, people are most of the time just focused on their own goals, and wouldn't even notice something like that.
  24. Well, it's not a Letter car. It doesn't even have a model name on it anywhere that I can see. It's a base model of some kind. What was the base model Chrysler sedan called in '65? Windsor? Saratoga? Wasn't it too early for Newport?
