Hmmm... I spoke to a friend of a friend today. He has an '02 Silvy same bodystyle as I'm getting... he says blocks will not work on a GM fullsize truck, he had to change his rear spring shackles to bring his truck to level.

I've decided to pick it up Saturday morning. I can't wait any longer than that, I've got to get in it! My ads will barely have any time to take effect, but I told the salesmanager today what I plan to do. The campground in Lehighton, PA is nice. There were a myriad quiet places to retreat to on the farm, growing up. "National backorder" doesn't necessarily mean there is too much demand for a part, it could mean there is too little manufacture. For example, perhaps there is a design change in progress, or a shortage of some material that goes in the part, or the supplier is on downtime... any number of things can lead to a "national backorder". If you want to check up on the dealership, and you know exactly which part they are waiting for, you could call all the local Mopar dealers' parts departments and ask if they have one, and if not, ask for an ETA. They get an answer back from Chrysler parts operations when they place an order, giving status on each part in that order.

Good Lord, the little brown 5 door is doing this: If anything, a two door coupe would be fun.
