  1. Your sketch shows a better integration of the B pillar and the quarter. It isn't so much the upright look of that area on the 130 that's throws the eye, but the integration.
  2. Not a fan. I would much rather see a few more pics posted within the threads.
  3. I confess to hating everything in this class, but this thing is exceptionally ugly. Makes me think of "cow tipping" when I look at it.
  4. Hmmm.... Couple things need further investigation on this one. No such thing as a 1LE '94 Firehawk for one. I also think they got the Firehawk option code wrong I'd like to see some documentation on this one Still, nice car - and I've always loved the wheels on the 93/94 Hawks.
  5. Yes, good call. This one is slightly easier to explain, as far as what I see in it goes though.
  6. As the days pass, I like this car a bit more each time I look at it. But, it still needs some work (as stated earlier the "flow" of the design is a bit choppy). I still hate the nose too - but it wouldn't take all that much to set it right. This car's best design feature is the side-sculpting: it's flat-out perfect! I am sooo sick of slab-sided styling. The rear shaping on that Bentley could be nice here - but there are other ways to make that stubby tail work better with the roofline too.
  7. Yes, this car is a fine candidate for some serious photo-chopping.
  8. That's actually close to one of the small tweaks I had in mind -- hiding the b-pillar behind the glass, similar to the Dodge Challenger. It really cleans up the daylight opening. Other changes I would make would be slightly larger headlamps and certain elements of the front fascia massaged and rearranged. The rear end and side scuplting are perfect as is. I also don't mind the c-pillar. Perhaps that's because I'm quite used to a very upright roofline. I really dislike the cutline that the trunk makes in the rear quarter.
  9. Interesting. I would say that the 140 looks like a copy, while the 130 looks original.
  10. All I can say about this is that I look forward to the day when CUVs fall out of favor.
  11. That all depends on Alpha's degree of dimensional flexibility. That said, the current car is reasonably sized - for a Chevellle that is. Camaro should shrink a bit.
  12. Leaving Camaro aside for the moment, it wouldn't surprise me all that much if neither of these two concepts went to production. They aren't bad - but the 130 is no Solstice coupe, and the 140 is no ELR.
  13. That's too bad really, BIW door-slammers are what Pro Stock will always mean to me. And, not so long ago, the prostock cars would be on the track before the production cars even hit the showroom.
  14. I agree that Camaro will never use a body like this car. Seems to me it all depends on when the new Camaro comes as I don't see Chevy offering two coupes on Alpha. Not that I'd object, mind you.
  15. I'd say that the 130R's chance of production depends more upon GM's Camaro plans than anything else.
  16. If you happen to catch him again, ask him how flexible the architecture is (wheelbase, width, cowl height, dash-to-axle...). Could be very interesting to hear his response.
  17. Seems the uploads didn't take, but I agree on the recipe for a 6th gen Camaro. However, I only see small tidbits of that in this concept - call it a family resemblence, nothing more.
  18. Sure does! Nice catch, Ocn. I've always liked these smooth-sided fiberglass RVs much more than the boxy ones.
  19. I'm finding myself far less interested in the ATS itself, than I am in what else Alpha can give us.
  20. 130 = Chicane? I think that might work nicely. And Monza wouldn't be bad for the other concept (esp. if it had AWD)
