  1. But it is cool. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/1992503835.html
  2. Yeah, yeah... Mustang and Camaro - the "givens". Add in Challenger... And the question becomes: "would you like the Chevy, Ford, or Dodge coupe? Need more choices.
  3. Gives new meaning to "in the weeds".
  4. You know I'm with you on the lack of coupes Ocn, but a coupe at what cost? Could never do the Scion badge - no way, no how. But I'm bloody sick of sedans.
  5. In that case, I'd stick with the D-Max. But boy, do I understand the temptation.
  6. My pick as well. With an honorable mention going to the COE.
  7. Don't you dare, Balthy! Wagons are too hard to find, and that is a nice one. But I love the idea of it as an "estimate mobile".
  8. If I had both of them in the car it would be red mist. Installed the stereo - works like a charm (have to chase down some speaker wires and test the CD player). And, I just finished an extensive "burping" session on the cooling system. I'm going to leave the heater core in the "down" position for a while as I drive around. We'll see what happens.
  9. I actually prefer the '55, and haven't owned one yet.
  10. Ocn, I fear that you are not well. Time for a good dose of vintage Pontiac to set you right.
  11. Thanks Stang, if this happens the '72 may not. I think I'm ok with either outcome.
  12. Nothing is wrong with it - it just would save me about 6-months on this project if I raid it for parts. Both the exterior and interior are perfect matches, and the condition would save me a great amount of interior and paint work. If it really is as good as it seems to be, then I could swap the parts and both trcuks could survive. Or I could part out what I don't need - starting with the cargo box.
  13. I think my '57 was the first... of many.
  14. I so want a job there...
  15. Possible donor truck: Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  16. Never a dull moment. If I can ever get the Tahoe heat right, the wagon goes into its winter slumber too.
  17. No new ideas on the heat, but I picked up the factory stereo today. Getting more than a little chilly...
  18. No joy yet. Same old thing - drop the core down flat, and it gets so hot you can't touch it. Re-install it in the proper position, and it goes cold.
  19. Same here - bought a Firehawk instead.
  20. I can't read the article because it won't enlarge to a legible size for me. But I remember these first SSRs, they were called the "Signature Series" and they each travelled to significant auto-related places and events. All of their travels were documented and the documents stayed with the car. Neat stuff. Wish that page would cooperate so I could read the article.
  21. Good info and input, Guys. Thanks. We'll see what happens. Nothing set in stone yet.
  22. New line, fitting, and sensor installed - we'll see what happens.
  23. Exactly.
