  1. Way past time for NUMMI to die.
  2. Good stuff, huh?
  3. Beautiful! If GM hadn't crumbled to bits, that's what mine would have looked like.
  4. I have made no decision about what I want yet. But ideas are fine if DF (or anyone else) feels like doing it.
  5. This, shipping, and other Ute -specific parts I'd guesstimate at about $12,500 USD. Then I'd have to find a wrecked G8 GXP...
  6. Sorry misread your post. My fault, I thought you were just talking shipping.
  7. Not that much.
  8. $7,500 AU

  10. That price is insane! No way should it cost anything like that amount.
  11. Someone else gets it!
  12. One interesting tidbit is that they higher amounts are obviously skewed to Pontiac. They want to close that chapter fast!
  13. Too many variables. Is it R134A? Are all of the parts OK? If the answer to both question is yes, then it should be a cheap fix with a recharge.
  14. I'll believe it when I see it. On both points. That the mid market stuff does well. And that GM ever returns to making something I'd buy. I doubt both.

  16. Oh, and there should be a dedicated fuse.
  17. NAPA should be able to tell from the VIN. Additionally, the code will be on the sticker (probably in the glovebox) that has all of the option codes (service parts label). Or, you could stab the brakes hard. :AH-HA_wink:
  18. The offers are in addition to announced incentives and they vary by car. For instance, I could get an extra $2,500 off of a G8, or an extra $2,000 off of a Solstice.
  19. http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/1222975459.html Very nice addition to have this forum here.
  20. Wow! I'm very glad to see the Avanti getting some attention, that car seems like an old friend to me.
  21. Sorry guys but it just keeps raining here when I have time to take pics. But here are the two shots of it on the trailer.
  22. This is where I'm sitting too. But now that I've lost the ST and Pontiac, I'm in no kind of hurry for a new car.
  23. Excellent! Thought you might like it.
  24. Creative.
