It's over. I can't support such a company any longer. Because of that, I cannot remain a part of the staff of C&G. I value the friends I have made here, and I don't intend to disappear completely, but this site has always been about the future of GM - and I no longer believe it has one. So, as of tomorrow, I hope to be just a regular member here. I will stop by now and then, read a bit, post about old cars, and be on my way again. To do otherwise would be dishonest.

The G8 will be ended before the end of this year, the last boatload of 1200 are already on their way. Holden will lose 750 million because of this. Hey Fritz! Bite me! Enjoy your slide to oblivion.

I did a little last minute checking around and reading between the lines... It doesn't look good. We'll know in less than eight hours.

Don't count on anything. Like I said before, I don't take what these two good folks say as gospel. They are in a position to know, but that doesn't mean that they actually do. As shaky as everything is right now, anything is possible. Pontiac very well may die tomorrow. But I do respect these guys, so I don't dismiss their assertions to the contrary.

Easy there, klondyke. No need to be disrespectful. These guys have been involved with GM for a very long time, and I respect what they have to say. So, as I said, just take it for what it's worth. They don't believe that Pontiac will be killed tomorrow.

The scenicruiser is very cool, I had a huge Tootsietoy version of it as a kid - my nephews still play with it. and I do have a thing for the GMC motorhomes, they managed to make a motorhome stylish in a way I don't think was ever matched. They really do qualify as classics.

Yeah, the Rampage was tiny - mitsubishi-based I think. Smaller than a Rabbit pickup.

I am very tempted to try that on the Camino.

More than likely, it will end being a "true to the original" Rampage. In that case, count me out.

Hearses can be interesting, but the proportions on many flower cars offend me a bit.
