  1. I'll try to do the search for you befoire I call it a night.
  2. Well, it's ok. It was a project I did for my Uncle (mostly with leftover materials). Yes to the Hummingbirds. Here's one from last year:
  3. Should be fine. Thinking back, I believe the shims came with the brake pads when I did it.
  4. Yes it was. There should be a number of threads on it if you search "Firehawk".
  5. Before and after. Before: By CaminoLS6 After:
  6. I still know where mine is... Last I heard it had 7k on it.
  7. Your buddy had a very rare Pontiac!
  8. You have to register to see the pics.
  9. Shipping body panels is tough, they are bulky and tend to get damaged.
  10. They haven't exactly lit up the sales charts , now have they? I'm still waiting to hear how they are "better". Last I heard they lacked interior detail, cost too much, and were mid-pack in the MPG department.
  11. Thanks. I've always prefered the Formula version. I really wish I still owned this car.
  12. I got a shim kit for my old Chevy dump truck, made all the difference in the world on that one. The clanking of the pads without it was driving me nuts. I'd get new ones and install them.
  13. Worked here at the property this morning, and now I need to go get the race cars pasted back together for action next week. I wanted to do the local cruise night, but that's not going to happen.
  14. Better? In what way? They build nothing I would own. So, no, I won't miss them at all.
  15. In that case, I'll see you folks then.
  16. So we still don't have official confirmation?
  17. I think that the government really doesn't want to save GM and Chrysler, they just want to crutch them along until the economy is strong enough to absorb their failure. A slow death fits their plans perfectly.
  18. Such hate for Pontiac couched in questionable logic is what caused the trouble in the first place. I'm tired of answering the BS around here concerning Pontiac. The truth is that GM has a surrender mentality, and it will destroy all of GM not just Pontiac. Pontiac is just the latest scape goat for corporate malconduct, but it cuts way too close to the heart for things to stop there. If GM can't defend the gates at the Pontiac line, then the battle is already lost. After the Oldsmobile debacle, you would think that the lesson had been learned. It hasn't been learned. And GM will pay for that. Again.
  19. Some people.
  20. I enjoyed the Firehawks so much that I may go find myself another one. That, or another GTO.
  21. True. If things go badly on Monday, I will have quite a bit more to say on this.
  22. That's the first thing I've ever read by that old coot that made a lick of sense. I think thigs will actually go even worse than he thinks.
  23. The goofy thing is, the one in my 2001 Silverado was flawless. Bean counters, I guess.
  24. Yeah right, since that approach has worked so well in the past. Fail.
