  1. Right, because GM is just that stupid.
  2. Very cool. Old school hotrodding applied to new iron - I like it.
  3. Yeah, but don't go spreading it around. It would be bad for my reputation.
  4. It's convertible day! I've seen: A midyear Vette in red A '69 Mustang in dark red A '69 Caddy in dark grey A Solstice in silver All were cruising in top down style
  5. The G8 is far better looking than current BMWs, as well as being a much more rational buy. As for Keeping Pontiac restricted to just the Solstice and G8 while Buick gets it together, I basically agree - except that GM should bring other G8 variants here pronto. They are already in production, so slap an arrowhead on 'em and get them over here to keep Pontiac going while Buick re-tools.
  6. This warms my heart! Death to Toyota!
  7. Cadillac isn't my thing - at all. And I don't like the A&S style. But this car is drop-dead gorgeous, and as a e-flex vehicle I'd call production a no-brainer. Get this to market and it will be huge. And I think it would help the Volt as well. Converj and Volt are a textbook example of how to share a platform. Add in a Buick MPV, and the conventional Cruze, and Delta looks like a big winner for GM. Time to just do it.
  8. I've got it working again already, so I'll wait until it craps out entirely before I do anything about it.
  9. Thanks for the heads up.
  10. ?
  11. Wow! I really am on C&G!
  12. Oooo, nice answer! Tubular and pre-assembled. I like it.
  13. :rotflmao: Holy gender confusion, Batman!
  14. Tanks!
  15. Haha! Well my mouse only has one - and it's shrinking!
  16. Can you buy a replacement rubber ball for a mouse?
  17. There is NOTHING easy about control arm bushings. I will never do them again without a press - get friendly with a machine shop that has one.
  18. Brother!
  19. Yup. Even worse, themes like this always serve some other interest (like the insurance industry) making dupes of those that buy the drivel and "demand that something be done". Divide and conquer. A tried and true strategy.
  20. ...And just how often do you see kids playing outside? Riding bikes? Running? This "obesity epidemic" is really a " sitting on your ass epidemic".
  21. Nope. Just a decline in manufacturing and a spike in fast food sales. Truly, many more Americans sit on their asses to make a living than ever before - so I don't see this as a big surprise that so many more are fat.
  22. Oh boy! That'll be an eye-opener I'm sure.
  23. Then it is those companies that should be the subject of scrutiny, not the fat people. For example: I smoke, therefore any insurance I buy will be more expensive - I know this. So, I can quit, or I can pay more. Simple.
  24. Wrong way to look at it. 1) because it isn't a "public" health risk, it is a personal health risk. 2) the only beneficiary financially from less obesity are the insurance companies - if you expect them to "pass on the savings" I want some of what you're smoking. But allowing higher premiums for the "willingly obese" doesn't bother me in the least.
  25. True enough, but why bother "blaming" at all? It is what it is.
