Thanks guys! I am going to try to do the right things to cover my backside better this time around and learn a bit more. Dodgefan: I'll have to get back to you on the specs (that stuff just sails right over my head). I can tell you that it's a used Dell (price was right: free) with a new 250GB hard drive. Beyond that, I'll have to look it up.

It's been a real nightmare after my computer got trojaned to death a few weeks back = but now I'm back! I don't even have any of my old data or settings yet, but first things first, I had to get here. Been very busy offline during the intervening weeks after my old computer became infected and unuseable. Anyway, it's good to be home and I'll fill you guys in on the details as I work myself back into the swing of things once again. For now though, I'm off to get some dinner. God, I've missed this place!

I'm glad you did! That makes 3 Audi votes now. One thing is clear, I need to spend some quality time with some of the cars on this list. I know what the ST would have been like, but these others would be a new experience and not so intuitive.

Oh I don't mind the wait, as long as I don't get the rug yanked out from under me again. No rush at this point.

All the folks at the local Chevy place know me (and me them). I haven't stopped in since the ST thing - I've been way too pissed and was afraid that I'd get too loud.

Serious question for PCS: Knowing what you do of my taste in cars, do you see any new product coming in the near future that will be "gotta have" for me?

One more thought, XP: I have never bought a new vehicle that I didn't love, and don't intend to start now. I am keeping the faith - no worries.
