  1. C'mon my friend, you know we don't feel that way just because we think that the global warming hysteria is BS.
  2. Cool stuff in there. It makes me want a bunch of huge buildings to stash away cars like these.
  3. Sounds like Sunday, August 10th will bring you closest to my area.
  4. Absolutely. Want proof? You won't find any of the prominent wackos using the term "global warming" any longer. They are now using "climate change" to cover their asses as global temperatures drop. New name - same load of BS.
  5. The manual will arrive in the GXP late this CY. Hopefully, it will be offered in the GT at least following that.
  6. TTAC is unadulterated garbage: no facts, all bias. Believe nothing that they write.
  7. "Yaris" sounds like something you might do after drinking too much.
  8. Stick a fork in it - that van is done.
  9. My favorite Buick - ever. By CaminoLS6
  10. On our way to look at it, I executed a "passing power required" manuever on th turnpike to get around some slowpokes. After completing it, I looked over at my friend and said," If you get this car, NEVER try that in it!" Really though, it runs and accelerates just fine.
  11. If I'm hunting one for myself, that's true. But in this case, condition and mileage were the driving forces we were looking for. That said, I was hoping for a B-body bargain - but none appeared quickly enough as this had to happen fast. This car is so pristine it is absurd, the undercarriage is spotless. I tried to resist the car, but it made too much sense given the situation.
  12. All the thinking people working for GM work at Holden. The rest just don't get it. Innovate, don't surrender!
  13. Unreal. I wish you well, and your mom a rapid healing as well as a quick settlement. Note: The judgement call on the title of a given thread belongs to the Mods alone, so use a PM if you think that one is out of line. Debating it in a thread like this is counter-productive.
  14. Mission accomplished: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/car/686508548.html
  15. Well: -the car is still selling well, both retail and fleet -the tooling is long ago paid for -this pacifies the CAW -CAFE concerns limit other options at this moment I see this move as GM buying itself some time to adjust to new realities. The only major downside from a business standpoint is the effect this coud have on the Malibu. That and the perpetuation of a nearly antique platform in the Chevy lineup with the attendant criticism and bad PR it engenders. The silver lining is that this helps to keep Oshawa viable and the promise of another car built on the Camaro line is a huge positive in my book.
  16. Given all of the circumstances involved, I can see the logic behind this decision. But ugh!, this car hanging-on into 2012 just seems absurd.
  17. Actually, it's quite easy.
  18. I'm in love with this project!!!
  19. Malamutes are a tough breed. They learn fast and forget faster, and they are very stubborn. I can't explain it exactly, but they are simply different than other dogs. On top of that, each one acts differently from the others. In my case, Zora has settled down and become a fairly mellow dog. Arkus, on the other hand, is still just a furry missile.
  20. Establish your authority early and often, use bribes, then pray alot. :AH-HA_wink:
  21. It's in the B&W pic thread.
  22. This one of one Camino is on Ebay right now with a starting bid of 25k and a "buy it now" of 35k. I'd love to own it and have been trying to find out what happened to it for years. By CaminoLS6
  23. Beat me to it, YJ!
  24. Not on my machine, but they are identical to the Caminos except for badging.
