  1. "looking at" doesn't mean much, does it? Undoing any existing agreements (or laws for that matter) rarely happens. Very little to be concerned with in that little tidbit.
  2. A belated thanks to Z for quoting me in his sig, and thanks to others who found value in my comments in this thread. Stuff like that makes it worth the effort.
  3. Maybe it's the phrasing of the question, but "what you believe" implies "all that you believe" to me. What else is there to serve as a basis for casting a vote? If the question is just about religion, then my answer would be different.
  4. While I believe that other "somethings" are coming which aren't so positive, I think this one change has become systemic and isn't being forced. It seems obvious and natural to me.
  5. This was resolved and reported as such when the new free-trade agreement with Australia was settled. That fact was published many times beginning quite a while back. How old is this snippet M/T just decided to publish? Must have been sitting in the files for some time.
  6. Yeah, I hope to have it soon but it won't be around anywhere near as long as the current one. This new one should be good for about 18 months or so. :AH-HA_wink: OCN: Nice news tidbit!
  7. People are scum.
  8. Of course, how could they not? Can you base a vote on anything other than what you believe?

    Ragin'

Still legal in PA - for now.
  10. Happy Birthday, Mr. Biz. We're glad to have you adding to the madness around here. :AH-HA_wink:
  11. Thanks Walt. All I will say is that it was one of the most affecting films I have ever seen.
  12. Ah yes, the "proto-camino"
  13. The astounding rate of new breakthroughs and trail blazing innovation in alternative fuels really has me believing that this push may have finally reached critical mass. That the momentum for this change is now self-sustaining and demonstrates how a motivated America is a force to be reckoned with. As these technologies come on line in the field and competition heats up, we may really be on our way to a new age. Perhaps the information age will be supplanted (and supported) by an "Energy Age" that could affect life in no less dramatic way than did the industrial revolution. Thoughts?
  14. That's a fine bit of thinking there. Similar small advantages are likely to be found everywhere if we take a closer look.
  15. So who else has seen it?
  16. HBD, DF!
  17. I'm afraid my response to that dealer would have been more than rude. What a jackass! I've been putting off going back to look at the black GT at the local Pontiac store. Perhaps I should go check out their attitude. If they need adjustment, maybe I can help them out. :AH-HA_wink:
  18. I think I'll pass, used hats are a bit lean on appeal.
  19. YJ, I have bad news for you on that interior issue. '73-'77 A bodies are very hard to get interior parts for since the aftermarket has largely ignored these cars. Just an example: Though you can get a dash cover at a decent price, a full restoration of a dash will cost as much as your entire budget and NOS parts for the interior are almost non-existant. Some stuff is out there, and you can make it look decent if you dig for sources, but a real interior resto is very tough for these cars.
  20. I count myself very lucky - I have great friends.
  21. Umm, no thanks. Looks more like a "La Femino" to me.
  22. :rotflmao:
  23. I think you are right on all counts, except the bed materials. I am all but certain that a steel bed was offered and eventually became standard in the stepside models. One counterpoint to that is that I have seen a few fleetsides from the '67-'72 vintage with factory wooden beds. In any case I don't think GM used stainless in any of the wooden bed floors - all of the originals I remember were standard painted steel.
  24. I love car stories.
  25. You are a lucky man.
