Of all of the vehicles mentioned in this thread, only the HHR would get a second glance from me. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool RWD V8 guy, and even I think this thing is cool. The rest are boring, cookie-cutter nothings to me. That's why this is a good product for GM, it gets folks like me to at least take a look. The entirely unique panel version even moreso. The HHR has a style all its own, and a wide appeal. What's not to love?

Didn't bother looking at the rest. Yes, I know the Egg is based on Volt - but the bodywork is not buildable in anything like that form. Too much showcar in the design and too little production capable.

1st impression: Egg on wheels 2nd impression: Showcar silly in many respects - not produceable even close to this version.

So I guess we'll never get to see this car which was supposedly a real "stunner". Remember that? And do you remember how the plan was to have the new Malibu take over for the current Impala? Very disappointing.
