  1. C'mon, be serious. I saw that you responded and I was expecting a well thought out list. :AH-HA_wink:
  2. The noise in my head.
  3. We all know that the US market is VERY overcrowded with brands, so leaving the big ones out of it (Toyota and Honda aren't going anywhere) what brands need to disappear? Think of the ones that simply drain away sales from more viable brands and don't have much going for themselves. Who needs to go? And, what would be a "good mix" afterward?
  4. Balt: cool list, but no purchases by me for a while. 68: congrats on the sale, and an LT1 El Camino sounds good to me!
  5. I'm sorry to hear about this, and hope it all works out for you.
  6. Long -yes, Fierce- at times, but quite civil and intelligent for the most part (the odd poster excepted). An enjoyable debate amongst those with something of value to say - on both sides.
  7. 1. The value, or lack thereof , of a Ridgeline as a work truck. 2. Domestic vs. Import and the implications of a purchase in the larger sense. 3. The inferences possible based on the vehicle someone drives and whether they are legitimate. That's a thumbnail, all I have time for at the moment. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. It's a long thread with several good discussions contained within it. Some far beyond the initial topic. There is some really good stuff at the end, so don't give up in the middle.
  9. Take a look: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=531621
  10. 1998 Firehawk: St Therese,Canada plant now flattened 2004 GTO: Elizabeth, Australia plant active 2005 Silverado: Pontiac Assembly Active? I'd have to check on the rest. 1985 Maserati Biturbo 1979 Jaguar XJ6L: Coventry England and active? 1977 El Camino 1977 Chevelle wagon 1977 El Camino (parts car) 1988 V2500 crew cab
  11. I wish that could still be done.
  12. Actually, it's about time for some brands to leave this market. I rather it was an Asian brand, but any foreign brand that exits the US market is good news.
  13. I made no specific claims, just a statement of what I would choose. At a 10k discount, you can have the much more refined GTO with nearly identical performance numbers. And, as I said before, I'm sick of sedans. I noticed that only the SRT8 was an automatic in that test, I wonder how an automatic GTO would have differed. Doesn't really matter to me, the SRT8's auto-only status eliminates it from consideration for me.
  14. I didn't recognize the song, but these were in the Chevy showroom the day I was born. :AH-HA_wink:

Congratulations on the HHR! I think it is one of the best looking FWD cars on the market.
  16. Link to pic: http://u225.torque.net/cars/dodgedart/cars/68austrk.jpg They are calling this one a Valiant.
  17. No photos handy, but the ones I've seen were Dart-based.
  18. "Easier Said Than Done" by The Essex ? Never heard of it.
  19. Chrysler's Aussie utes are far more interesting, and not wrong-wheel-drive.
  20. The Peoples Republic of Kalifornia strikes again.
  21. It's a question of balance: either you have it, or you don't.
