  1. I read it as Pantyboy the first time. Well, the name which worst describes me would be Focus. 2CV would be appropriate for my anatomy. What car name sounds laid-back?
  2. From Chevrolet's Hot Ones 1955 - 1956 - 1957 (talking about a hypothetical sales situation): "The salesoman was warming up to this buyer, so he took him over to the Bel Air on the showroom floor and demonstrated the Wonder Bar radio and left rear antenna ($112.00). The buyer was all smiles, so the salesman suggested a matching dummy right rear antenna ($6.95) to give a sleek and balanced look."
  3. Why buy shampoo when you can have real poo?
  4. One of my dad's friends has an Austin-Healey with the plate 6UL DV8.
  5. Someone at my school drives a red Grumman LLV diesel. I think he just might have the coolest car on campus.
  6. I want to like it, but I still can't. The rear end is so huge it looks like has a full diaper. The profile almost reminds me of a J-body hatchbacks (which I liked), but it's too high for even that. Hopefully my opinion will improve when I see it in person, as it did with the Malibu and G8.
  7. I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet.
  8. I agree all around with Croc.
  9. Went to the always incredible Glenn Christian Chrurch Ox Roast & Car Show over the weekend. Far too many beauties to list, but one car that stuck out to me was an extremely rare Ford Durango.
  10. That's pretty much what I submitted for the past two Pontiac competitions.
  11. Before we leave the AMCs, The Alabama Department of Public Safety used 133 AMC Javelins for Highway Patrol and Pursuit duties. Each had a 'fleet-service' 401-4v V8 and Automatic Transmission.
  12. It's not a Peugeot, it's a SEAT. And I happen to find it quite elegant. Don't even get me started on what I think of short overhangs.
  13. That's awesome. Heck, it looks right at home with the Crown Vics.
  14. Geo Storm wagon mid-80s Civic shuttle wagon two '08 Magnum police cruisers ANOTHER Studebaker Hawk, white/gold yellow Lamborghini Diablo old black Packard sedan
  15. OK, going back to the first post: Other than the name, what is everyone so upset about? Comparing the concept pictures to the spy photo, I don't see ANY differences besides the door handles. It is EXACTLY THE SAME.
  16. Beautiful sculpting, especially for a small car.
  17. I have been seeing a lot of 1st generation Chrysler Concords and late model Integras lately.
  18. Saab 9-2x wagon. What a strange car. Black Studebaker Hawk White G8 GT
  19. Black Cobalt SS sedan Two G8's, one black, the other stryker blue White '71 Mustang Mach 1 White 90's Camry wagon
  20. Yay for Lordstown! I really like this car and I'm glad it's being built nearby. On an unrelated note, it always annoyed me that the big sign on the plant had the Cobalt in red and the G5 in blue.
  21. Black '03 Mercury Marauder Red 60's Impala convertible
  22. If Toyota built a new Celica, I'd buy one... eh, maybe. If Infinity built a Q that wasn't pig ugly, I'd buy one. If Honda sold the Civic hatchback here, I'd buy one because they are awesomely styled. Of course, this is all assuming I'd ever have enough money to buy a new car.
  23. I've never in my life heard it pronounced bay-jing.
  24. I always the the gymnasts are cutest... and most amazing to watch. I should try to watch more of the Olympics this year. It's a rare example of truly good TV programming.
  25. I believe it was from a western-themed porn film. Dunno the title, never seen it. "I think it would be ironic if everyone was made of iron." - Pvt. Caboose
