  1. The blacked out D-pillar looks better on this than it does on the XJ, but it's still an awkward styling element.
  2. I still think the last generation of Toyota Celica was a really good looking car.
  3. Well then it wouldn't have looked anything like the Seville...
  4. I noticed the P1800 homage right off the bat, but the rest of the car is... well, I haven't been a fan of Volvo's styling direction this generation, and this isn't an exception.
  5. It is super clean, but that interior would just be a depressingly dull place to spend any amount of time.
  6. I get what you're saying Moltar, but personally I'm glad they didn't do it that way.
  7. We're just dreaming about different things nowadays. If only that were true. Sadly, it isn't. Instead of dreaming about the future, we now squabble over equal shares of a declining standard of living - and pat ourselves on the back about how fair we are being to everyone. It's disgusting. But it is true. Just because it isn't manifested in physical styling exercises at auto shows, doesn't mean imagination in general is stagnant. People's imaginations are running wilder than ever, you just need to look in places you never have before or wouldn't expect.
  8. As a student of graphic design but a lover of car design, this is something I'd like to do if I had the chance.
  9. Before they got interesting, IMO. In lovely condition, but I'd still rather have a bustleback. What the bright trim around the door edges standard?
  10. Flat tan AMC Rebel popped up on a local used car lot.
  11. That would make sense, except they screwed it up with "C-Series Touring Sedan" Coupe. I wouldn't have a problem with Cadillac's acronyms if they just stayed consistent.
  12. Those perspective views are purely orthogonal and really distort the proportions. From the side it looks nicely balanced. I agree that people should wait to see real world photographs to judge the styling.
