Yeah, I know a lot of little tricks to get modified characters in Word/Windows because since I type up practically everything (Italian text books in the US SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!), I'm in constant need of foreign characters but don't want to take my hands off the keyboard. Since I use a laptop without a number pad, I don't use the ALT + number codes.
  3. So, you win a prize.
  4. Okay, the final result: Took the car in... 1) Whirring sound: hub bearing (figured it was that) 2) Rattling sound: heat shield (no idea what that does really)

  6. Same dash is on all three. The fact that Cadillac, GM's luxury brand, has plastic wood, well, it's disappointing to me.
  7. The kid was HYSTERICAL... I can't tell you the laughs we had in class. He had an awesome sense of humor. I also had his younger brother, in a 10th grade honors Italian class. They were sons of the Vice President of a major bookstore chain (I'll leave the name out).First of all, that class was awesome--7 seniors. We sat in a circle every day, talked in Italian, worked on awesome projects--very creative and talented bunch. We did a video version of Desperate Housewives... wrote a script where a student finds answers to a quiz in a teacher's desk and then is conflicted on whether or not to come clean. As for Alyssa... absolutely nothing "physical" happens when I think of her... and I have to force myself to think of her--so I'm pretty sure I'm still 100% mo. But for some reason, if I were to force myself to try, I'd love it to be with her. Seems like she can pull of the classic beauty as well as the super-hot slut.

No, it won't work for C&G... to get around it, I just do it in word and cut/paste it here
  11. Now, back to things I'd take: Julian McMahon: Chris Evans:
  12. When I was student teaching, there was a senior who'd walk in EVERY day and say that in Italian: "Mi piacciono le lesbiche!" No matter what I said to him, he'd keep saying it. Eventually, I just had to laugh. And Reg... I don't know why I just want her over and over and over again:

No, it's a standard combination that would work in Microsoft Word if pressed correctly. I use it at work and at home. Didn't have to set up either to do that.

No no, let's switch back to English. As for the circumflex and tilda, I know how to create them in Word, which is where I did them. For the tilda, press CTRL+SHIFT+ tilda key (upper left), and then hit "n" For the circumflex, press CTRL+ , and then hit "c"

Well, in Charger's defense, he wasn't speaking Italian :AH-HA_wink: He was speaking "online-translatorese" which us teachers frown upon bigtime for their excessive errors. For example he got, "you all to copy the neck" in one point. But "this Italian $h!" came out correctly

  22. 267 miles? That's a rather crappy lifetime for a 3800. It should go like 100,000 times father than that!
  23. And it's only for 1 freaking year?! I almost say, "What's the point?!"
  24. Awww c'mon!!! I am willing to give up my 92 Century to get totalled if I can just have a nice new Lucerne. I'll baby it! It's so unfair! lol
  25. I don't know why anyone is trying to make this more than it is--the 5.3 goes into a W-Body: Been there, done that. I guess I'll have to wait for a redesign to get excited.
