  1. I've seen the body color taillamp surround, and I never really liked it. I do like the 2000-2005 model very much, but was never a fan of the interior. I like the current interior much better, but I feel the car doesn't have the same sporty look it used to--although it does look upscale. I would have to test drive one, but the Impala is probably a car I would buy.

  4. Wow... Hyundai is expanding fast. And I see LED taillamps are the wave of the future. It'd be nice to see them on cars used in creative ways since they are so small and easily molded to whatever design one can dream up.

  9. if it is when you go over bumps and such hazards, check your brake calipers and rotors. had to have that fixed on my car. there was a metal piece loose. it wasnt a problem for braking, but it made a very annoying metal rattle every time i went on a bumpy road. No, not when I'm going over bumps--it's a constant rattling sound... if I can tape it on my cell I'll post a wave file of it for people to hear.

  11. That's interesting you say that.. the mechanic fixed something with my exhaust right before this sound started up, so maybe something got loosened?

True... it wouldn't be good if the driver let go of the steering wheel to hold on for a bumpy ride!

  15. It's a bit scary that I see the 2007s EVERYWHERE. I've seen them in a variety of colors, but all the same trim... the 4 cylinder LE. I still HATE that grille.
  16. Anch'io Well, while I'm mainly Sicilian, there's a small part of me that originates from Bari (towards the top of the heel of the boot).

    Enclave interior

Yes, but there are many more controls on the driver's side, so it would be harder to move all of them down on the armrest. I feel the design needs the grab like it is on the passenger side because it was to give an athletic, sporty feel. Since that couldn't be accomplished on the driver's side, they resorted to the grab in the armrest.

Probably because the grab handle would have blocked the drivers' controls on the door.
  21. Hey, I was wondering the same thing a couple of weeks ago! That would have been unique and I bet coughed up some awesome reviews!

God, throwing an interior like this into the Lucerne and one in the LaCrosse (with a refresh) would do wonders for the brand.
  23. Okay, but if they can put "faux" wood in a Cadillac, and the reviewers can still call it tasteful and upscale, then why is it the faux wood in a Buick can't be just as nice? It's faux--can't be THAT much more expensive or tedious a process to create the plastic with a pattern. Still, rather have my real wood. And if it splinters? I don't know that is a problem... the airbags cover most of the impact on your dash and doors now anyway.
  24. Well, we'll have to see. I think I'm going to bring the car in next week to have it looked at because I can borrow one of my parents cars for work. I still think one of the problems is (and pardon my lack of technical terminology), the "wheel bearing"? I had the one on the left wheel replaced when I had new front struts put in, and it's making the same noise it did before. But, what do I know. As for the rattling sound, well, that is all my mechanic. He'll have to figure that one out.
  25. Oh My God... Did I just read "tastfully applied faux wood"?! Cadillac is using faux wood? Am I crazy, but isn't this supposed to be a luxury brand?! Anyways... the review seemed mostly positive, and with some minor tweaks which can be taken care of in a refresh in a couple of years, they'll have nothing to complain about (okay, maybe not "nothing", but less to complain about).
