  1. Heh-heh..maybe. I just tend to like women my own age or a few years older...(I'm 36, my g/f is 38)...
  2. The easiest answer is to assume they will be around for the near future and leave it at that.. what's it matter, anyway? GM has other OHV V6s..(3.1 and 3.9).
  3. Exactly..the point I was making was about wieght...go on a diet if you want to take off 30 lbs (which I what I'm working on taking off now..)
  4. I like her looks..attractive in a way that is not the typical generic/manufactured Hollywood look.. and I tend like women that are past 35.. And she's not an airhead, and she is from Ohio (I still dig Ohio girls, though I haven't lived there in over a decade)..
  5. If they are going to try and attract younger buyers, they need hip-hop in the ads--Jay-Z, 50 Cent, or something...
  6. I've never tried a Costco..isn't a lot of their merchandise in bulk, though? Not practical for me, buying for 1-2 people at most. Pretty much all my regular shopping I do at a local SuperTarget, though lately more groceries from Whole Foods (my g/f is really getting into organic stuff when we cook)..
  7. Lots of goodies there...I love that '61 LeSabre..probably my favorite year of '60s Buicks...and that Grand Prix was sweet also.
  8. That's the one I was thinking of..the Citation concept. The greenhouse of the EV-1 reminds me of this concept.
  9. Sounds plausible...I assume the other W's will also be around through '09 as well (Impala and Monte Carlo)..
  10. Albertsons has closed all their stores here in the Denver area.. it seems most of the big grocery chains here do the 'club card' thing... King Soopers (Kroger-owned) and Safeway are the dominant chains here, though I suspect Target and Wal-Mart (there are at least a 1/2 dozen Super Targets and Super Wal-Marts in the metro area) get a lot of grocery business...
  11. Sounds like the curvy early '80s Chevy concept with sliding side doors..I don't recall the name, but saw it in person at Disney World at Epcot Center in the early '80s.
  12. Yes, it's inconsequential..some people on here just love to argue about pointless things...
  13. I've seen postings claiming Buick will have a Statesman variant, so something like that probably will happen...
  14. Good looking car..very smooth.. it would make a nice top of the line Saturn here (I could see it sitting nicely with the Aura in a showroom).
  15. Hmm... the US has one modern mass-market RWD platform now that I can think of--the LX with the 300, Magnum and Charger...
  16. I see no resembalance to the GP.. this car has proper RWD proportions, not the wierd FWD proportions of the current GP.. I see some 3-series resembalance in the doors and the overall wedginess reminds me of the C-class and others (side character lines sloping from back to front).. I like it, though..good looking car..it will be interesting to see if any of the rumoured US-market Zetas use this same styling...it would make a nice range-topper sedan for Saturn, I think. (Or with a different nose, a Pontiac?)
  17. Yeah, I forgot about the '90s Skylark..kind of a wierder looking Grand Am sibling..
  18. Very, very common around here..I know plenty of males under 30 that own a Camry or Corolla (one has both!).
  19. Those wacky Republicans..always plotting how to control the world.
  20. Heck, as recent as the '80s Buick had a compact 4-cyl model (Skyhawk). Though it was just a lousy J-car.. and the compact Special was '61-63, with the Pontiac version being the Tempest. The '64 Special was a midsize A-body..
  21. It's so disguised you can't tell how it looks.. it will be interesting to see in person. I wonder how much heavier the V8 is than the 6... it's going to be wierd to see the M3 without the 6..
  22. I try and avoid them...they are always so crowded.. I have about 6 Targets within 15 miles of me (3 are SuperTargets) and about the same # of Wal-Marts. My mom,on the other hand, lives in rural Ohio and Wal-Mart is the only big store within 50 miles. My brother worked for them for 10 years, retiring at age 50 as a regional manager).
  23. Interesting..it has a strong resembalance to the Sky. YAK (Yet Another Kappa).
  24. It's a sweet looking wagon..I like the interior and exterior. I hope it, the Outlook and Enclave are all hits for GM...
  25. I can't see it being compared to the RAV-4..different size, different market niche. Now I could see it being compared to the Highlander, Pilot, and Murano though...
