Some states don't require any sort of training or permit to conceal carry (Texas), I wouldn't want to be around a bunch of potentially armed yahoos...

There are some movies I wouldn't mind seeing in the theatre, I have an excellent Cinemark w/ the big comfy leather seats nearby, but not interested in sharing an enclosed space with all the unvaxxed walking dead out there. My 75 inch Samsung 4K UHD will suffice.

4Runner doesn't have a V8 version...but the next LX probably won't have a V8, since the new Land Cruiser (that the US doesn't get but the LX is based on) doesn't have one.. There is also the GX, which I didn't even realize was still being sold, it's based on the Land Cruiser Prado and offers a V8 for now...I'd assume it will get redesigned eventually, the current version dates to 2009. I'd assume the Sequoia will get a redesign with the new Tundra dirty bits incl. the V6 soon..

I saw a late model Ram 1500 regular cab shortbed 4x4 not too long ago, seemed like a unicorn, didn’t realize they built any like that over the last decade…

Regular cabs have been a dead end for a while..and the D3 seem to only offer them in the low trims, nothing nice.

Fleet/commercial as a percentage of sales of trucks....I wonder how much it is for a typical full size like the Silverado, Ram 1500, F-150... 5% or 10% of sales? And then mostly the work truck/base trims? Not talking about the cab/chassis models. I know I've seen specific commercial-use dealers in places. I know with vans like the Transit, Transit Connect, Express, etc commercial is it probably a high majority percentage of sales.

Maybe get actor Donal Logue to do ads in the US...a Pro Logue advertising the Prologue.

Did they make the lettering on the front and dash big enough? The dash is very busy. For off road, I’d assume there would be skid plates to cover delicate parts.

Another beach day. Saw a clean Apple green ‘71 Monte Carlo and a dark gray restomod ‘68 Camaro SS convertible on the way here. On the way home, saw a red/white/blue Rambler American with a hood scoop (can't recall what these were called, 1969 only), a clean white '71-72 Grand Prix w/ no vinyl top, a yellow '55 Thunderbird rolling top down, and a custom salmon-colored '41 Chevy tudor. People getting their oldies out and enjoying them in the great September weather..

I like the E-Tron GT, but if I got a new Audi I'd go for the RS6...

Going to the beach today, got the folding chairs etc loaded in the Jeep. Maybe I need one of these "surf wagons":

I'm a pretty cynical guy, don't really worship anything. As far as the take out question...that is a tough one..I love both Indian and Chinese, but also Thai and Vietnamese take out. Hard to beat good Mexican, Korean BBQ, southern American BBQ, or Italian sloppy pasta take out also. Or a good cheeseburger w/ bacon. Or southern style biscuits and gravy w/ country ham. So much to choose from. Lots of choice is good.

I'm surprised there isn't a regulation against such a type of steering wheel. Seems like it would be awkward in any thing other than the slightest turns..

I tend to turn pink then burn. Thus the big floppy hat to protect my bald pate and ample sunscreen. My pasty English genes I guess.

There were so many black SUVs in the Phoenix area. I bought one..my Jeep..but I did get the black & cream interior. My Jeep just has the factory window tint, not Arizona tint (it was only in AZ a short time, having come from So Cal). I remember a coworker that had an FJ Cruiser and a Highlander, both black w/ black interiors...

Doesn't like there is any provision for a sunshade either.. yeah, I remember having the dark tint on cars when I lived there.

That terrarium interior would get insanely hot in AZ....and isn't it built there?

Went to the office today, saw this clean '71-72 Chevy Cheyenne 10 w/ a 350 and a '65 Mustang coupe on the same block when out for a walk...also saw this neat metal dog sculpture.

I’d like a green one with white & green Colorado plates.
