So, I'm driving backward, uphill, in the snow...
I use it in reverse. I take it on weekends (when I can sleep in) and I find that it has a lasting effect for the rest of the week. But if I skip a weekend, I sleep terribly the rest of the week.

Going for broke with the ATS
The 528i doesn't get 32 mpg because it has an 8-speed. The 528i gets 32mpg because it has great low end torque (230 ft/lbs at 2600 rpm) and a very tall 8th gear ratio (1:0.67) It could have a 3 speed with that same top ratio and still get 32mpg. The 535i only gets 29mpg with an 8-speed and 300hp. The Camaro can do 29mpg with a 6speed auto, 312hp V6, and no turbo..... so clearly the 8-speed isn't helping fuel economy. GM has the powertrains to be able to hit your fuel economy standards.

If you're interested in really making your dreams vivid and weird, there is an herbal sleep aid called Melatonin. I use it for insomnia and it gets me into deep sleeps.... but I have incredibly vivid and weird dreams. It doesn't put you to sleep. It lets you sleep. Take 12 hours before you need to wake up.

Interactive Review: 2011 Ford F-350 SD Crew Cab
Something else that I'll be able to confirm once I get all of the video processed. The F-350 is faster 0-60 in 4x4 mode simply because it's able to keep traction.

Interactive Review: 2011 Ford F-350 SD Crew Cab
At the risk of sounding like Balthazar or Camino..... WTF is up with these new fangled turn signals?! I want positive affirmation that the turn signal is indeed on without having to look at the dash. The Ford has the damn turn signals from the Mini-Cooper that return to central position even after they're activated, and you have to push it completely the other way to cancel the signal. But sometimes, if you tap the turn signal to signal an actual turn and not just passing, you find that you didn't tap it hard enough and you only get three blinks and the turn signal shuts back off automatically. Of course you can't rely on it's position by touch to know what your turn signal is doing... because it always returns to center. So you find yourself looking down for the flashing arrow only to find you're not signaling anything other than that you're an asshole who doesn't know how to use his blinkers. Ford, sometimes the old saying of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" really should be adhered to.

2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD named Motor Trend Truck of the Year
Was a thin test this year and GM fielded 2/3rds of the entrants. Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty, Ford F-Series Super Duty, and GMC Sierra Heavy Duty having driven the GMC nearly back to back with the F-350. I have to say I'm probably going to come to the same conclusion.

2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD named Motor Trend Truck of the Year Make that two wins for General Motors and Chevrolet this year. The 2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD joins the Motor Trend Car of the Year - 2011 Chevrolet Volt as this year's Motor Trend Truck of the Year. We just had the Silverado's sibling, the 2011 GMC Sierra Denali HD in for review... and we can understand Motor Trend's sentiment towards this brute of a hauler. Here is the full GM press release: Philadelphia – The Chevrolet Silverado HD is the 2011 Motor Trend Truck of the Year, completing a rare same-year sweep of the prestigious car and truck awards. Chevrolet also earned the 2011 Motor Trend Car of the Year award. The truck award was presented to GM CEO Dan Akerson before the 111th Army-Navy Game at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. Chevrolet is the Official Vehicle of the Army-Navy Game. “On the outside the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD appears to have been given a subtle makeover, but it’s what’s under the skin that makes this truck a winner,” said Motor Trend Editor-in-Chief Angus MacKenzie. “Chevy engineers focused on three key areas – powertrain, frame, and suspension – to deliver a truck with significantly improved capability and more refinement.” The new 2011 Silverado HD built in Flint, Mich., and Fort Wayne, Ind., was introduced this summer, featuring new frame and suspension designs, and a more powerful Duramax diesel engine with 397 horsepower, 765 lb.-ft. of torque, and 11 percent better fuel-economy. As a result, the 2011 Silverado HD is capable of towing up to 21,700 pounds, or carrying 6,635 pounds of payload. The new Silverado HD also offers available confidence- and control-related features specifically for towing including electronic trailer sway control, hill start assist and smart exhaust brake system. “With more capability and technology than ever before, we believe the Chevrolet Silverado HD sets the bar for heavy-duty trucks,” said Akerson. “It’s a great honor to have such a respected authority as Motor Trend agree.” The full report from Motor Trend appears in the February issue of the magazine (on newsstands in early January) and online at www.motortrend.com. Chevrolet also earned the 2011 Motor Trend Car of the Year award for the Volt, the industry’s first electric car with extended-range capability. It is the first time since 2006 that one brand has won both Motor Trend Car and Truck of the Year awards in the same year. Chevrolet and Buick won both awards in 1979.

C&G - Top 10 recently canceled vehicles that should be brought back
Well, I think we can easily find 10 in each category... especially since we won't be limiting it to GM stuff.

it's all going to get aggregated into a poll and you can suggest more than one.

So make your suggestion a new Impala then.

C&G - Top 10 recently canceled vehicles that should be brought back
That's the point, but it's not just GM. There are other manufacturers out there too. You could see something missing at Ford or Chrysler. Returning models to the brands that have survived is picking the low hanging fruit. We all know you want Oldsmobile Pontiac to come back... but that's not likely happening any time soon. So I want us to focus on fixing what can be fixed.

C&G - Top 10 recently canceled vehicles that should be brought back
Again, it doesn't have to be a vehicle that is interesting specifically to you. Just needs to be a vehicle that would help the brand it's associated with and take very little work to get back in refreshed form.

The post rating system
As everyone in this thread very well knows, it doesn't take a post rating system to drive away membership. The kind of bickering in this thread however.... quite effective. A poll is unnecessary.
