  1. I've got your overhang right here baby.
  2. Uhm.. not really. going from up 11% to down 39% is a much bigger fall. Still, I think these year over year percentages are a somewhat silly and arbitrary way to rate performance. I think current month's sales should be compared to an average of the prior 12 month's sales.
  3. I think it's too early to tell with Camaro sales. Supply hasn't fully ramped up yet.
  4. You know there is a disturbance in the force when the ONLY brand out of all major brands to see a sales increase is Lincoln.
  5. Sorry. Doesn't work that way. No one cut GM slack when their numbers were down after the 2005-2006 sell-a-thons.
  6. I just want to point out that the Cadillac STS sold nearly 4 times the amount of RLs sold by Acura.
  7. Camry down 36% Accord down 46% Chevy is doin ok.
  8. So.... wait... Honda, Toyota, Nissan all down more than GM with the Civic, all of Scion, Corolla, and 4Runner all down over 50% yet if only GM would sell cars Americans want to buy......
  9. Go FORD! Hold down the fort! The calvary is coming!
  10. About time you people come around to my side. I've been saying for a while that a Kappa roadster should go to Cadillac. Give it the right engine and right interior and it could be a Z4 fighter. As much as I like the Sky, it never should have gone to Saturn because it was too close to the Solstice in price. Art & Science the hell out of it, leather up the interior, give it the 300hp ecotec that Saab developed and slap a wreath and crest on the front.
  11. Buick Regal Buick Lacrosse Buick Lucerne (or Holden based Park Ave) Buick Vue based small SUV Buick Enclave How is that not a winning lineup for Buick?
  12. I always tip at least 20% if the service is as expected. I've been known to tip 30% when the service has been surprisingly good as in the case of this particular Domino's. It's not unusual to have the pizza at my door in 15 minutes with this particular store.
  13. My credit card was in my wallet. This Dominos makes you show them the card when you sign.
  14. I don't know about Papa John's website, but Domino has an order tracking system on theirs that is freakishly acurate as to which step your pizza is at. edit: and the only reason I got off my couch last night was to get my wallet and answer the door.
  15. What if this is footage of the development of the dummies themselves and not actual testing of the cars? You don't really need the newest car available to test the dummy, just something cheap you don't mind cutting up and crashing. That might explain the date and model discrepancy..... also, some of the cars have the initials UCLA stenciled on the side.
  16. yeah, isn't this more likely to be a Chrysler vid? but I know that GM participated in the development of early crash test dummies....
  17. Forget Unibody or BOF.... half the time the seats didn't even stay bolted down!
  18. I'm surprised Pittsburgh isn't on the list, but we have a relatively low crime rate. Still, there is a reason we have one of the premier mental health institutions in the country.
  19. you Camino fans are certainly a unique bunch.
  20. maybe they can supply Saturn dealers.
  21. Woah wait! I missed the part about the Caprice being a 2-door. Definitely get that even if you don't get the ToadSmasher for it's LT-1
  22. I thought Toyota already said they wouldn't be going with Li
  23. 1. Show me a concept car that makes it into production in the original concept form. 2. The price range was always 30k - 40k, yes that's a wide margin, but they said it would be with in that. 3. People are getting 100mpg by hypermilling Pruises, I don't doubt the Volt can do that too. 4. This was always going to be a slow ramp up vehicle with limited availability in the first few years. 5. As always, your mileage may vary.
  24. The Insight (if you mean the first Gen) never moves on electricity alone and uses "traditional" batteries. The Volt runs up to 40 miles on electricity alone and uses lithium ion batteries. AFAIK, no other major manufacturer is using Lith-Ions. The Tesla is just a bunch of Toshiba laptop batteries strung together.
