  1. After Swindon, Oxford and Sunderland are gone, they are not coming back. The whole logistics of auto parts manufacturing in the UK will collapse. Other manufacturers will be forced to follow them out the door.
  2. These are basically what I've been waiting for in the PHEV market... all-wheel drive and not super expensive like the XC90/XC60. I do wish the bigger Cherokee was on the list though... maybe soon.
  3. The EQV at least is geared more towards VIP transportation rather than plumbers. Though City based plumbers aren't going to be traveling 249+ miles in a day usually.
  4. Seeing as this is a political topic regarding the car industry, there needs to be at least some political talk in this topic.. however, I ask that we keep it on Brexit and the auto industry and not wander into other political territories.
  5. I think you'd miss the power you currently have, or would have in a LaX.
  6. None of which will matter when all the multi-nationals pull out and take the jobs with them. The banks are pulling up anchor and heading to Paris, or Brussels, or Berlin as well. One of the UK's biggest exports was financial services. That'll will go the way of their auto industry soon enough.
  7. Not much of one. Only the Pacifica, Sienna, and Sedona survive.
  8. STS or SRX?
  9. I do it for my Toronado all the time because parts are hard to source. I did it for the Honda on occasion and I would just say "I bought this and tried to put it in, but can't get to it... can you do it?" It helps that I have a regular mechanic who I've spent many kilo-dollars with over the years.
  10. Sometimes there is a delay, but glad that it worked for you. If there is a delay, just give it a couple seconds and it will embed. Albert will be happy, he really likes that series. I don't follow it myself.
  11. The delayed launch of the Volkswagen Arteon may be nearing its end. MotorTrend is reporting that the Chairman of Volkswagen has said that the Arteon will hit U.S. shores this year. The original cause of the delay was a backlog of certifying vehicles under the World Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). The Arteon in the U.S. will use a 268 hp 2.0 liter Turbo from Audi that had yet to be certified. VW sells the Arteon in Europe using a different engine. The Arteon debuted at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show and is priced above the Passat in the Volkswagen lineup. Related: View full article
