  1. Or, like I said, it is high centered on the snow.
  2. Most likely. But this does point to the issue of where emissions originate from - a tail pipe or a powerplant chimney - and if the overall effect in the environment is greater, equal or smaller from the spread of EVs. It's an interesting debate... It is easier to make a power plant cleaner, even a coal one, than it is to make all cars zero tailpipe emissions. Also, because of the way the grid works, you may be getting green power at times even if you aren't subscribed to green programs. Even if your house is 100% coal powered, electric vehicles go further with fewer carbon emissions than pure petroleum powered vehicles do, simply by virtue of regenerative braking. Also with Teslas, I believe all charging done at a supercharger station is 100% renewable energy as they put up solar panels for them.
  3. I dunno, that Rover is high centered. In theory, he should have been able to set the air suspension to high...
  4. I can (and have) select green energy for my home through the energy choice program. It is no more expensive than brown energy and sometimes actually cheaper. Someone buying a Tesla in Pittsburgh will likely make the same choice I did.
  5. Honda will sell the bejezus out of these, but some of those sales will come at the expense of CR-V sales and possibly Fit sales. I'm sure Honda has accounted for that though.
  6. Everyone is getting or expanding sub-brands these days. M is a brand now at BMW and one that doesn't always include the actual high performance stuff. Fiat has Abarth, Chrysler has SRT, etc
  7. Credit unions typically have lower rates.
  8. Digital Credit Union will give you 1.49% for up to 60 months if you direct deposit your payment to their checking account and pay from there. 1.9% if you don't do that.
  9. Good luck with that.
  10. Eh, the S-class may not have presence... but it does have gravity... as it should for a 5,000lbs sedan. It is conservative, but has gravitas. I like the current one far more than the prior version.
  11. Can the cylinder walls handle it?
  12. Suburban / Escalade water fording depth = 20" Range Rover water fording depth = 21.6" Not a huge difference to the average buyer of either of these vehicles
  13. Apparently the GLK was originally going to be the MLK and it took MB USA 6 months to convince Stuttgart that it was a bad idea.
  14. I think everyone here owes you a round of applause for getting these articles up so promptly.
  15. Wonder if Kia will ever add awd to the Soul.
  16. Not at that interest rate it's not. You can do much better if you finance elsewhere.
  17. What William didn't mention is that my Laptop hard drive died mid-day on the first day so I was limited to emailing him pictures via my camera's wifi and I wasn't able to post any articles.
  18. The percentage of Range Rovers that go off-road in this country is 0.000000000001% and even then only when they jump a curb at the mall. You don't go off-roading on 24" low profile tires.
  19. You can turn off eco mode to get better heater performance I think. You just burn battery quicker.
  20. I wanted the interior to go more upmarket like the platinum model but across the entire lineup. At the base level, the Impala and avalon and Lacrosse have nicer materials; that flips the other way once the 300 goes platinum. I still like the exterior, but I like the current one also.
  21. See me there chillaxin in the back of the bach.
  22. It looks like a range Rover mated to a gmc mated to a '98 Explorer
  23. One of my favorite cars on sale today but I am disappointed with the update. Only the top end model has the changes inside that I was looking for.
