  1. It's a lease, they turn it in when they're done.
  2. It's a joke about the Toyota Tacoma Frame Rot Issue. Toyota was buying back Tacoma trucks multiple times over their blue book value or doing full frame replacements. A tenant of mine had the frame replaced on his Tacoma, but he said it was never right after that and ended up trading it in on a real truck, a 2013 Sierra quad-cab.
  3. A question for guys, is the Cheers and Gears: Garage important to you? There is a possibility that the the garage plug-in may not be available right away in the next software version of the site. If I have to temporarily disable the Garage until it is upgraded, will you be heartbroken?
  4. There are some people out there that don't need the same type of car you do. If it weren't for the need for AWD, my partner would do just fine with a Leaf as his primary vehicle on a day to day basis. My suburban-DC based in-laws are looking at a Leaf for Father/Daughter to share to replace an old Hemi Charger... he works from home 4 days a week and she is going to be a senior in high school. She'll take the Leaf to school 4 days a week and then he can drive his 50 mile round trip to work once a week. Their other car is a Suburban for family duty, but a commuter car that uses no gas is a perfect second car for them.
  5. That's nothing! Toyota will replace your entire Tacoma with a new one at 100k miles.
  6. You'll like the additional power over the Cruze, but it won't feel the same torquey low-end grunt that the 3800 has. Just be willing to wind up the engine and you'll be fine.
  7. I have a similar thing with my vision, but not as extreme.... but I'm also sensitive to bright light.
  8. I like'em. I was looking at a trailhawk for myself.
  9. Can you get an aftermarket one?
  10. The GM MyLink stuff is all Android based also... but extremely heavily modified.
  11. Baracuda* *the name of my parent's business that does performance tuning on Cigar Boats.
  12. Yeah, the black graphics are a Trailhawk feature I believe.... I think it also gets you red tow hooks on the front, so if you spy those, it's a Trailhawk
  13. No... they didn't owe anything. The government chose to sell at a loss.... it's the government's stupid fault for buying high and selling low.
  14. Shame because it's one of the best little coupes out there and can even haul a decent amount with the rear seats down. I wonder if there is too much perception that it isn't a useful car based on the old design.
  15. LOL... no worse that some of the fails I had in an Infotainment system lately.
  16. I do remember that they removed the Impala badge on the c-pillar in the final years and the GM badge on the front fenders has been gone on all models for a few years now. I've driven one as a rental and the engine and transmission combo is great, but with the "almost a cop car" suspension, I didn't care for the ride and handling.
  17. This is a reference to their (inter??)national tagline of a few years back, right? The automotive Freudian slip of the decade. And look : the link shows the newest segment mercedes is slipping down into ; PEDAL CARS! How else are they going to get their ABA down?
  18. Just think, for the first time, you too can own a new Mercedes-Benz! "a chicken in every pot and a Mercedes-Benz in every garage"
  19. Ocn, any car of yours that has over 50K miles on it would likely be a nightmare for you.
  20. Sounds like a pretty simple fix then.
