  1. How much longer till they try to remove him from office? Can they remove him from office?
  2. Happy Birthday
  3. It's a lot more than VTec. It apparently allows for Chrysler/Fiat to dispense with the throttle body which is a significant boost to engine efficiency. It is more like BMW's Valvetronic. Vtec is relatively low tech these days.
  4. well... Multiair is a technology. According to the link from Cubical, both the 1.4T and the 2.4 have it, but only the 1.4T makes reference to it in the name.
  5. then I am misunderstanding what multiair is... I thought it was a replacement for the throttle body.
  6. I don't think the 2.4 is a Multiair technology engine.
  7. sounds like they have possibly fixed a few of my interior ergonomic complaints.
  8. This could end up being on my shopping list....
  9. I would like to see both engines offered in the Corvette. But dwight, what about how the 3.6TT makes so much torque down low (and with very low lag in the CTS) while the big V8 actually has to spool up higher before the real torque is made? Doesn't have an effect on 0-60?
  10. The AWD/RWD question isn't a big one for me because I'm not afraid to invest in snow tires. I admit that I'm a size queen and the size of the XTS appeals to me. I do also like the look of the car. The CTS has the slightly better quality interior, but the XTS has the much better ride when set to "comfy"
  11. Right, and a V6 at best is going to get 30 mpg, a lot of turbo 4's can get closer to 35, and probably with a flatter torque curve. And who wants to a 270 hp Dodge Dart anyway, lol. If done right, the same people who want a WRX, or Evo, or Focus ST, or can't afford an ILX Turbo
  12. Yes, but we're in a time now where Turbo 4-Cylinders can put out 270hp without breaking a sweat and still get over 30mpg.
