Honda kills S2000 replacement, V8 program, RWD Acuras
They could probably live without Acura. They had the Integra/RSX and a little success with the TL and TSX to some extent, but haven't found a good sales groove in years.

Worst night of my life!
Maybe for dessert, but I'm majorly bummed over the lack of beer and sightly miffed over the absence of pickles.

Worst night of my life!
Odd you mention pickles. I wanted one this morning, but we didn't have any. I meant to stop and pick a jar up after work, but completely forgot. How am I supposed to enjoy a hamburger without a beer? Or pickles for that matter?

Strange things said about your car
Me: "What do you think my car looks like clean?" Not me: "Crap" And talk all the crap you want about the Prius, its been to the east coast and back, and piled up a ton of miles, but has only lost $1500 in value. Find me a GM that can average over 45mpg for nearly 20000 miles and maintain that kind of value.

RIP G8 ST
They didn't have to any money into it. The G8 front clip on the Ute didn't cost them a thing, other than a few bucks in labor. The only money they put into it was the little bit they put into advertisements saying its coming. Oops.

December 2008 Sales: Chrysler LLC
A lot of good? Have you seen where Chrysler is now? That "good" didn't last long or trickle down to any of their other products.

Touche. Isn't Astra production going to be moved to N.A.? And the Astra wasn't intended to be a niche product, the market made it one. Camino, take a step back, look at it from the view of someone who isn't a diehard El Camino lover. At no point did the G8 ST look like a big money maker. The fact that GM did the work on it (albeit not much work) then showed it in public, then canceled it, which was pretty dumb.

December 2008 Sales: Chrysler LLC
The same thing was said before the LX cars came out, and the new Avenger/Sebring and the new Ram.

Even rental companies dont want any part of Chrysler. I dont blame them.

+1 Imported niche vehicles aren't going to sell with the profit margins GM needs.

Offical Photographs of the 2010 Cadillac SRX...
Maybe not, but the RX looks like an RX, and RX buyers wont be alienated by the redesign.

Offical Photographs of the 2010 Cadillac SRX...
The new SRX doesn't look like a $40,000 SUV, which wont appeal to buyers of $40,000 SUVs. It also looks like a cheap toy compared to the first gen SRX, which will alienate first gen SRX buyers.

Offical Photographs of the 2010 Cadillac SRX...
Name and price=market position. Calling it an SRX and pricing it at $40k+ (assuming they hold the line, as has been suggested) puts it up against the MDX, M-class, X5, FX instead of the more similarly sized RDX, X3, GLK and EX.

Frozen Pizza
Jenos (those 97 cent pizzas) are fantastic if you're broke, because they're under a dollar and can be microwaved. Sure the outside burns while the cheese on the inside remains frozen, but if you fold it over (taco style) after it comes out and let the cheese melt that way, its perfect. Jack's and Tombstone are great for what they are, if you just want a quick snack. Going any more expensive, I'll take anything from Papa Murphy's over anything in my grocer's frozen pizza aisle. All that said, I'd rather not deal with my oven. Papa John's if I want delivery, Little Caeser's if I want to pick it up or only have $5 on me.

Offical Photographs of the 2010 Cadillac SRX...
In profile, even with the "fins" it looks cheap and tiny, way too close to the Vue and Equinox. GM failed by making the SRX. Its too small and too cute-utey to keep the SRX name and price point.

December 2008 Sales: Mitsubishi Motors NA
I'm not even sure my local Mitsu dealer still stocks Mitsubishis. They moved Suzuki up the block to its own building, the front lot is overrun by Volkswagens and Porsches. I dont recall the last time I saw any Mitsu parked anywhere near the front. Usually one entrance has the latest VW, the other entrance has a low-end Porsche and in between they have their priciest used cars.

GM @ NAIAS '09: 2010 Cadillac SRX
Wiki has the 2010 at 72.8. Still, even with an extra 2.5 inches of width, its way shorter and lower, it doesn't have the presence. It does have the overhangs. Not what Cadillac needs.
