  1. Usually mega church lots are full of large trucks and SUVs. At least thats been my observation.
  2. I very randomly broke that out today. Got a laugh. But today's rather awkward quote: "If she were the last woman alive on earth, I'd become a necrophile" I didn't know necrophile was a word, but apparently it is.
  3. I may be the only person alive who doesn't think the hatch was the best looking model, but all three body styles were absolutely perfect. They tried to update it for the next gen and it just didn't work. Give me a red 6th gen Civic coupe, and I'll be more than happy to drive it everyday.
  4. So an 8 year old Civic? Why did Honda have to ruin the Civic by producing the last 2 generations? The 6th gen was just about small car perfection.
  5. Made a couple of bigger guys ride in the back seat of the Sebring together on a rainy night. They got very very close that evening.
  6. Wagons FTW!!! I tried the child seat in the back seat of a coupe thing twice. Once with the Sebrine (top up, obviously) and once with the Solara. Both times I was putting my nephew in, neither time was a picnic. My biggest problem with a child seat in a 4-door is the damned LATCH attachments are a pain to get to. My solution with the wagon was to put the kid seat up front, cause the back seat is perpetually folded down. Makes it easy to get him in and out of his seat, too, cause I just have to lean over a little to unbuckle and he can either crawl out my door or (like the little prima donna he is) wait for me to go open his door.
  7. You're never too young for high school girls to assume you're driving a celebrity around town.
  8. If Suzuki were fully owned by GM (I dont think they are, right now) would you buy a G8 ST rebadged as a Suzuki?

    OH OH!

On a more serious note: I assume that if you're replacing th Aztek, you're going to replace it another space-mobile, so I'd rule out anything thats not an SUV or wagon. I also assume you didn't buck the trend, so you didn't pick up something massive like a Tahoe. That leaves wagons and small SUVs/crossovers, and minivans, since you said new to you, which doesn't require it being new. The Vibe seems a bit compact, the HHR a little tight on space compared to the Aztek. I'm thinking maybe VUE, or an off-lease Terraza/SV6. Or a Hummer H3.

Express with no windows, so you can hand candy out to children at the park?
  12. Hows aboot a random update? The Fusion is looooooong gone. Some dude with a big nasty Ram (looked like a 6" lift and more rust than a certain Dodge Shadow) needed something with good mileage that he could strap his upcoming 3rd child into. Not sure the Fusion was the best move for him, but thats not my prob. The Q.E. 2 is running like a champ. She ate about a quart of oil over the last 1000 miles, and has a slight rod knock, so I'm looking around for a good 307 block that I can swap out. Ideally an LG8 from a wrecked 442, to get a little more power. The entire exhaust needs to be replaces, but I'll probably make that my winter project. I still haven't gotten around to the rear shocks, so I cant get it up the driveway without scraping something. And there is a big-ass hole underneath where the spare tire belongs, presumably a result of the blown rear shocks and inclines. That will be patched after the shocks are done.

    Bucket list

I'm now adding "$h! while killing someone" to my list. Or not. And I fixed the original post.
  19. I've seen Maximas at the dealership, but not on the road. I noticed a few things in the parking lot today 2008 CTS parked at the far end of the lot, far far away from any other cars. FJ Cruiser, also parked far away from anything else. Recently purchased Tundra, still had the sticker in the window. PT Cruiser vert Mini Clubman (I've seen it before, its just so cool) HHR SS

    Bucket list

A friend of mine was talking about an 83 year old man who shot and killed another man over a property dispute. He quipped at the end, "How do we know that wasn't just the last thing on his bucket list?" That got me thinking about making up my own bucket list, which is quite the morbid thought at 24. This is all I could ceom up with. --Have sex in zero-gravity

  23. Next time, whip it out and ask if they'd be interested in buying a tube steak. Oh, and its Quixtar in North America now. I've seen their freaking commercial about 7 times in the last 3 days.

  25. I loathe Starbucks because of all the bible thumpers who hang out there. I dont care about the fate of my soul, I just want to eat my f@#king scone. There are 3 small coffee houses that I do go to when I have some free time and a hankering for coffee. Two of them are withing a couple miles a work, neither is appreciably better than the other, so which one I go to depends on traffic. The other is about halfway between my house and work, they have live music (usually decent music) on Sunday nights and an improv troupe on Thursday nights. Plus, they have some pretty good sandwiches.
