1. Me: for farting
2. There is a small, ghetto car lot that has a Gremlin sitting back behind, I wonder if they're saving it for the day they become collector's items.
3. QUOTE(Oldsmoboi @ Aug 6 2008, 04:29 PM) For being the best at pulling numbers out of his ass: SMK To be fair, 78% of his statistics have a source.
4. I saw a last-gen Supra in the mall parking lot the other day.
5. If Big Oil weren't in bed with the current administration, we would have seen major investments in alternative energy by now. Just think, if 2000 had gone a little differently, we would be in a far better place, energy-wise, right now.
6. Chrysler should have put a few more dollars into transmission reliability.
7. Pouring so much into trucks and SUVs was a terrible idea. Putting money into cars would have been a better long term strategy. Then again, Chrysler did pour most resources into cars, and look where they are.
8. Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. Looked just like my car, only with in tact wood-grain and goo rear shocks.

He legally emigrated from China to Canada in 2004. Besides, crazy isn't bound to one nationality or country of origin. There are plenty of crazy people who were born in the U.S. (or Canada) and didn't have to come through a border. Suggesting we close the borders completely is about the most un-American thing I can think of. Ok, maybe throwing someone in jail for saying we should close our borders completely is more un-American, but I digress. There is no way to tell if someone is going to flip out in 6 months, or 10 years, and no statistical evidence that a person from X country is more likely to be a criminal than a person from Y country. Yes, you can say that illegal Mexicans are more likely to be criminals that Polish immigrants, but there is such a large sample size, that the two cannot be compared. The point is, closing the borders or building a fence is short-sighted, it doesn't address current illegal immigrants. Amnesty isn't the answer, getting them to want to leave is the answer. There are two ways to do this. One: Come down HARD on employers of illegals. If Joe Schmo knows he'll get a $1500 fine for hiring an illegal to put up his backyard fence at Home Depot, he'll think twice. If Wal-Mart knows they'll be fined tens of millions if they hire a single illegel, they'll think twice. The second way would be to make them want to return to where they came from, which would require us investing a lot of money in another country. Not ideal by any means.
10. Sweet, I'll get it right next time I tune it up. And the old plugs were gapped at about .035, it runs much better now. Dont know why they set the gap that high, nobody I know has ever seen plugs with that big of a gap.
11. That seemed wrong to me too, but .080" .080" (see post 9) .060" Another .060" I really dont want to re-gap the plugs if you guys find some solid evidence to counter what I found, but if you do I'll definitely gap them right next time.
12. Got a cheapie cupholder/console at walmart. Works about as well as could be expected. I'm thinking it needs portholes, some tacky, stick-on ones. Or some Homer Simpson style "speed holes."
13. That they're immature. Truck Nutz are a fad that seems to be over, thank goodness.
14. Please you two, we all know that Toyota paid the media to announce that GM lost billions.
15. That question was asked, tongue-in-cheek, during the 17th Viagra commercial during the Yankees-Angels game on TBS this afternoon. It doesn't bother me that Viagra advertises so heavily during MLB games (no matter the channel) what bothers me is that its the same damned Viva Viagra commercial over an over. Come up with another commercial already!
16. Well, I guess Volvos also go through puberty, so yeah, I guess at a certain point in their lives they were flat, and noticed all the other cars getting curves, which made them sad.
17. I'm actually kind of surprised you haven't. There has to be a gay couple out there somewhere with a sense of humor like that. Anyways, the ones that bug me are the family ones that use Jesus fish instead of stick figures or whatnot cause those are the fundie nutjobs with 11 kids who insist I'm going to burn in hell because I let my 2 year old son watch the Simpsons Movie. Oh, and I've decided I'm going to throw a small Mizzou sticker on the wagon. No plans for any other adornments of any sort, at least right now.
18. I just pulled figured from GM Canada($24,390) and Toyota Canada($29,400).
19. That is freaking clean. I'd actually feel bad about buying it to put it to work.

Apparently the dude started eating the body. This just keeps getting more and more f@#ked up.
22. That can probably be explained by money. The Uplander/SV6 is $5000 less than the Sienna, based on a quick glance at each companies Canadian website. I dont know how GM does incentives in Canada, but I assume you can get an Uplander for significantly under sticker.
23. Yeah, that happens when you drive 50 in the left lane of the highway with your left blinker and high beams on.
24. Walmart has an am/fm/cd with aux input for $49, which would work. I also saw an am/fm/cassette at another walmart that appeared to have an aux input, for $29 which would be great, since I hate having to dig through a cd case, if I can get something cheap that will take my iPod, it will be a pretty perfect situation. The problem is finding the right dash adapter so it will actually fit in the giant hole the stock unit uses.
25. If we get a couple more wagon owners, we can start a C&G Wagon Mafia.
