  1. Yep, loved that car. I was pointing out that 68 says all of my posts are the same (go ahead, do a post search, see how many times I say "mullet") where the truth is that he only has about 4 posts that he re-words and puts into every topic.
  2. Whats funny is that this is coming from the ultimate one-trick pony. BOF/RWD/V8 Toyota is teh suxxors And who could forget B-pillars are the worst thing to ever happen in the history of the world!!!
  3. Could he have gotten tired of the constant stupidity and immaturity around here?
  4. You think Nissan interiors are more plastic-fantastic than Chryslers?
  5. Escape Hybrid is rated 34/30, the Vue Green Line is rated 25/32 for comparison. The Escape/Mariner hybrid will get better highway mileage than the Edge or non-Green Line Vue, but its peak efficiency will be in the city, like almost every other hybrid. The Escape has a little more headroom and legroom than the Vue, but shoulder room is about the same, the Edge blows them all away in shoulder room, so if 3-wide in the back seat is going to happen often, the Edge makes the most sense. The Escape Hybrid also has less cargo space than the Vue, a difficult accomplishment, to say the least.
  6. Damn! Just...Damn! Shoulder problems suck, I couldn't imagine all that.
  7. I must be the only person alive who didn't hate the electric steering on the MAXX. Driving through the tight parking lot was easy, I didn't notice anything awkward on the highway, I could have lived with it everyday.
  8. The Lambdas are 2ft longer than the Edge, that is unnecessary extra room for most people. The Edge also has more second row legroom than the Outlook, which does have extra shoulder room compared to the Edge. I just wouldn't count on real-world economy being close to epa ratings, the Outlook has a larger engine and weighs 700lbs more than the Edge.
  9. My bitches with the Fusion are documented around here somewhere. Basically, its been a solid car, just some little things that come with getting the base model with the stick. Single-disc cd player had to be replaced several times because it would eat cds (almost all SE and all SELs have the 6-disc) and the airbag light once stayed on during a 10 mile drive, went off and has worked normally since. The standard rubber sucks, but they've gone 39k miles and still have more than enough tread, so I cant complain too much. The transmission is my biggest complaint. The clutch feels goofy, like nothing else I've ever driven, the transmission itself is geared stupidly. 3000+rpm at 70mph is way too much. I do get high-20's doing mostly city driving, unfortunately, cruising at 80 also nets high-20's, unfortunate since my old L200 got 40mpg on a straight, level 250 mile highway cruise. The interior has held up quite well, the cloth (I have the camel/black interior) doesn't show much wear, there are no squeaks or rattles and the dash-top storage bin is the best thing ever invented. Pre-2008 Malibus are fairly ugly but they come super cheap and get great real world mileage. MAXXs are incredibly useful, just something to look into.
  10. rectal condyloma
  11. The Backpack seems like something that would sell in cities, like a Smart, only larger and slightly more useful.
  12. They all look alike. Come to think of it, so do the Ford and Olds posted at the top. Its like they were designed by the Japanese or Koreans, no originality.
  13. Old as in I hadn't yet hit puberty when I actually saw them, yet they are modern enough to be nearly relevant in the modern market.
  14. Dodge Copperhead anyone?
  15. Unimogs are ugly. Hinos are ugly. Every other commercial truck available is ugly. To single one out reeks of asinine hatred. The Hino RK busses aren't bad looking, for busses at least.
  16. Ok, so these two are old, very old. The Backpack was a 1995 concept that was, frankly, cool. Almost useless (c'mon, a pickup with a 3ft bed?) but totally cool. Should have been produced just for the sake of producing it. The Expresso (wikipedia lists it as a Plymouth, the website the pics come from says its a Chrysler), on the other hand, should have had a coathanger abortion before the public could be subjected to it. Just a couple random Plymouth concepts from back in the day.
  17. I see a Grand Alero from time to time. It appears to be a Grand Am with Alero rear taillights and trunk, although it could be an Alero with a Grand Am fascia. It has the de-cladded doors of the Alero/late Grand Ams, so that doesn't help identify the root car. Either way it looks retarded.
  18. In white, the Edge literally looks like a giant egg. The Ford accessory body kit helps a lot, if you want to spend the $1800+ for it. Copper, red, dark blue and black look fine, the lighter, less bold colors dont.
  19. Yeah, Freudian slip.

    2009 Enclave

God the Enclave is a sexy pig.
  21. So I was playing basketball back in 2003, went up to the hoop, got hit, came down on my hand with my arm outstretched. Ouch. Urgent care doc diagnosed a minor rotator cuff tear, told me to rest it and take enough ibuprofin to keep me from feeling my thoughts. Didn't help, my doc diagnosed the same thing. Finally, after having some problems with it the last few weeks, I had it looked at again. Torn labrum (not torn labia as I inadvertently told my boss). Surgery is an option, dealing with it is also an option. Didn't even get any drugs. Stupid doctors.
  22. Blue Smart Cabriolet, unbelievably cool.
  23. A friend of mine wanted to run an eBay scam, where he would sell raffle tickets for his 1996 Grand Am for $20/each, then rig the raffle so I win and sell the car back to him for $20. It may have worked.
  24. According to Edmunds (I'm lazy) the VUE is significantly smaller in every dimension than the Edge, but weighs a whopping 2lbs (2 pounds, 0.91kg) less than the larger Ford.
  25. Vue XE 2.4 19/26 Vue XE AWD 3.5 15/22 mpg Vue XR 3.6 16/23 Vue XR AWD 3.6 16/22 Edge 3.5 16/24 Got all the numbers from Edumnds, the gas argument in favor of the Vue doesn't hold....gas.
