  1. My Fusion has the antenna embedded in the glass (they started the roof-mounted ones on '07s) and the reception sucks.
  2. Those "That thing got a Hemi?" commercials killed any chance Dodge had of being taken seriously by image conscious buyers north of the Mason-Dixon.

    *blink*

55 and sunny here, that makes up for the foot of rain we got in a 36 hour period last Monday/Tuesday.
  4. On the flip side, how will you spin things when it doesn't?
  5. Wouldn't the point of this to be a step up from the Millenia? A '95 GA would be a step back in every possible way. If you're going to look at GAs, at least look newer. Honestly, for the price of the one you posted, you could find a 99+ GA in pretty good shape, just wouldn't be green.
  6. What he said, but with a caveat. I like the Fusion, but I hate my car. If I had to do it all over again, I would have ordered one just to get the 17in wheels, the 16s suck hard. Also, say no to the stick in this car, it was geared by a jackass. Who in their right f@#king mind thinks an engine needs to be turning at 3000rpm at 70mph? A 6-speed would help immensely, but the auto is a decent substitute. In spite of the retard transmission, the car gets fantastic mileage, though again, it would be better with a 6th gear. I've put 37,000 on my car with no major issues, just the damned radio that had to be replaced 3 times. The Mercury Milan or later Mazda 6 would also be a nice choice. Audi TT=money pit, hot car, but like all VWs when they have issues, they have expensive issues.
  7. No, now there is a wikipedia page for everything
  8. Geez, haven't you guys ever been to a fair or a carnival or any other event where smelly people live out of trailers?
  9. I guess everything has a wikipedia page.
  10. Just for the record, I've thought the H2 was an unnecessary douche-mobile from the start. Same as the H3. Power tools for power tools, nothing else.
  11. So I was eating a corn dog earlier (I have a big box of them in the freezer) when my son began actioning as if he wanted one. I explained that he was condemned to a regular hot dog because he isn't high class, high society, therefore he cannot have meat on a stick. Was that wrong?
  12. I agree with 'blu about the dip, it adds a little something unique. This will probably do pretty well for Hyundai, the Tiburon has been an ok seller for them over the years.
  13. Gas mileage isn't hurting sales as much as the complete lack of storage space (who wants a weekend roadster that cannot hold enough clothes for a weekend?) compared to the Miata.
  14. Compared to Chrysler products, Mazdas are downright unbreakable.
  15. I own this and wore it yesterday, therefore I win.
  16. Hmmm....a company cutting production of low-mileage vehicles when gas prices are skyrocketing, in the long term, does this really seem like a bad idea? If they were smart, San Antonio was made to be fairly flexible, so they could maybe expand Tacoma production (for people who need a truck, but not a full-sizer) or even the Yaris/Carolla/Prius, since gas prices show no signs of dropping and the economy shows no signs of improving.
  17. Maybe people figured out that it looks like a 6 year old MPV without the heralded Mazda reliability.
  18. The Fusion, if you could take the hit in space from the 500, would be a fine choice. A Milan with a stick would be even nicer, assuming you can actually find one. As long as you're keeping the Aztek, you have a larger vehicle, why not a Focus sedan? Yeah, they're small, but if its just going to be transportation, it would be perfect, use the Aztek when you need more space. The Edge is also a fine choice, I cant wait to see what the Flex feels like. How about a Wrangler 4-door? With the hardtop, cold weather isn't an issue (I drove a hardtop on an extremely cold day) and the cheap-ass interior doesn't seem out of place. It does have Bluetooth and the lifetime powertrain warranty. The back doors are tiny and the back seat is tight for a six-footer.
  19. For all those thinking this will steal sales from midsizes, the G8 V6 starts at $27,595 and the GT is $29,995 while the Colorado regular cab starts at $16,050, the (ugly as sin) Dakota doesn't offer a regular cab, the extended cab starts at $20,125, the Frontier (also not available as a regular cab) starts at $16,250. The G8 ST, if it steals sales from any traditional trucks, will steal sales from full-size, regular cab trucks, which aren't the most popular models, not even close.
  20. C6 Z06 taking up 4 parking spots in a busy restaurant's parking lot.
  21. +1
  22. Oldsmobile Plymouth AMC Duesenberg Bad argument
  23. The question is, who will own them when they re-open.
  24. Suggesting Mini leave is asinine, they sell very well and hold their value for a reason. They're tons of fun and practical for 1 or 2 people. Isuzu has already announced they're leaving, Mitsu and Suzuki need to follow. Nothing worthwhile at either. High end/high priced VWs need to leave so Audi can prosper, make the rest of the lineup genuine "People's Cars" and they'll be fine. Chrysler/Dodge and Jeep aren't going to leave the market, but they are going to be sold off. As I said in another thread, I think Dodge will become part of Nissan, you'll still see Dodge branded trucks and probably a few rebadged Nissans/Renaults as Dodges here. Chrysler will be turning Chinese and Jeep will either be bought up by Mahindra or GM. All 3 will remain in the market, they need to die in their current form. Pontiac probably needs to die, as do either Lincoln or Mercury.
