  1. For some reason the black cars front reminds me of the Crossfire.
  2. Ummmm.....sleep perhaps? As for kids, I have one, I was 22 when he was born. I have every intention of not having another one.
  3. The new low sulfur diesel is more expensive to produce, it brings us in line with the rest of the world, and apparently the latest generation diesel engines are made to run on it so the older, cheaper, dirtier stuff had to go.
  4. My my, someone is being presumptuous. If he had asked "Scientists or left wing nutjobs?" about an Al Gore-led coalition, I would have replied "left wing nutjobs." Have you ever listened to the group that this thread is about? They really are right wing nutjobs and shouldn't be taken seriously as an environmental group, much the same way people shouldn't go to the E.L.F. for data and opinions on the other side. I dont see how anyone can believe that global warming isn't at least somewhat caused by man. Do cars pollute? Yep, and they're man made. Do factories pollute? Yep, and they're man made. Do cow and other livestock let off a ton of methane? Yep, and increased demand for beef has led man to breed a lot of cattle. Just the last couple of years have had some extremely odd weather patterns. Hell, in the past 5 days here we've had 80 degree weather and 5 inches of snow. Something tells me weather patterns were far more stable before humans came around and started polluting. And the next civil war is probably going to be started by the south (naturally ) trying to keep the people living in the north who have been covered in a sheet of ice from moving down.
  5. Right wing nutjobs
  6. It looks like.....a sad clown?
  7. Wow, the Dakota is really sucking it up.
  8. Records thread. 'nuff said Oh wait, sNOSage wasn't there for it. Haha, loser.
  9. I'm looking at it from the standpoint of someone who kinda sorta nearly understands the business world and what companies like Cerebrus do. I have had bad experiences with Chryslers in the past ('87 Dakota and '96 Sebring vert) and have been very underwhelmed by their recent offerings compared to the competition. I wouldn't buy any brand new Chrysler over a new Chevy or Ford or Toyota. Even the Wrangler, which I've been on-and-off in love with doesn't seem like a better vehicle than the FJ Cruiser.
  10. Other than the spoiler (and even thats a stretch) I dont see it at all.
  11. Dodge: Whatever small cars Nissan allows them to rebadge Jeep: Whatever fine 4wd vehicles Mahindra can legalize Chrysler: The finest vehicles China has to offer
  12. A polished turd.
  13. Yep, the days of the $9,995 AC/auto Cavalier are long gone. I didn't dislike the Astra, it just needs some tweaking.
  14. I'll keep it brief. I really wanted to love this car, but came out underwhelmed. I drove a silver 3-door automatic with premium audio and performance tires. I had no problem with the car having "only" 138hp, but the automatic seemed very slow to react, the stick is a must for this car. The tires did surprisingly well in the ice/slush that was just about everywhere, I'm sure all-season rubber would have done better. The infamous cupholder that everyone seems to bitch about seems like a non-issue, a sing, good sized cupholder between the seats would work just fine for most people, it is far back there, but not a hassle to access and is low enough that even with the stick you're not going to knock your drink over with your elbow. Speaking of elbows, I hate cars that dont have armrests. Its not so much the place to rest my arm, its the storage thats useful. This car has very little interior storage, other than the decent sized glovebox. Outward visibility is an absolute bitch (on the 3-door, the 5-door is just fine) and access to the rear seat is tight. The trunk seems to be of a useful shape and size. Verdict: A nice car, for sure, but for just under $21,000? Nope.

Camino hasn't posted or logged in since the 17th.
  17. The disturbing part is that a loaded Ranger has an MSRP of almost $28k, not that anyone pays that.

Duh, he's over at GMS now.
  20. Yep, it was bad yesterday, but I downed some Nyquil, woke up woozy, then downed some Dayquil. So now I'm basically stoned.
  21. Aren't the Supers just trim levels, not separate models?
  22. I'm looking forward to spring so i can get back out on my bike, and do some kayaking. This winter of inactivity is driving me insane. I'm definately looking forward to baseball (go Cubbies!) but I doubt I'll get a chance to get to any games. No plans to go to Chicago anytime this summer (plus Cubs tickets are hard to some by) and I wouldn't waste my time with the Cardinals (St. Louis or Springfield) so I'm going ot have to live with Sportscenter being my main source of baseball.
  23. Nothing can top the softcore porn play-by-play I did for some friends a few years ago. I couldn't follow the plot at all (likely because there wasn't one) but my explanations of the sexual positions were fantastic.
  24. Smashing Pumpkins- Tonight, Tonight (aka: THE best song ever)
  25. Who on earth would have guessed that the movie would be as cheesy and dumb as the original show? Oh yeah, me.
