  1. Some Wal-Marts carry AC Delco, every Autozone I've ever seen carries Delco as well.
  2. There was a pristine '65 Mustang convertible parked under a tree along old RT 66 yesterday. I wanted to turn around and steal it.
  3. Its been insured since a day or two after I bought it. I saw several Patriots in a parking garage yesterday and couldn't help but think one of those would be pretty perfect for my needs.
  4. The title says I purchased it on July 31st, and the plates expire this month, so I'm pretty sure they'll go on that and not when the title was issued. The dealer said the C4C credit plus another trade-in wouldn't be a problem, but finding an acceptable Clubman might be since I'm not willing to wait for months like the wife did. The yellow one in KC isn't really equipped how I'd like.
  5. I got to play around with a Clubman today while we were picking up a new accessory bike rack and I fell in love, but not necessarily with the one they had in stock. Another dealership has a Mellow Yellow Cooper with the stick in stock, but nothing can happen until we get something clarified with C4C. I bought the Buick last July but the title wasn't issued until October, so we're waiting to see what they mean by "continuously insured and registered to the same owner for the full year preceding the trade-in."
  6. I like it, its a very fluid design.
  7. Just re-affirms my belief that Fram always has been, and always will be, crap. Anyone who uses a Fram anything deserves what they have coming. I do find it funny and sad that Fram is actually the top of the line brand at Wal-Mart.

    Fish Sticks.

You love fish sticks....what are you, a gay fish?
  9. Online petitions and online mobs solve everything.
  10. Torrent as a Cayenne competitor, now thats the funniest thing I've read in a long time. The Torrent wasn't even an acceptable alternative to the Escape, CR-V or RAV-4, who in their right mind would consider a FWD Chevy w/cheap rebadge package competition for a Porsche?
  11. VH1 and MTV both run videos in the wee hours. Thats the only time of day either channel has videos anymore.
  12. Or because, even moreso than today, cars back then looked so similar it can be impossible to tell them apart, hence the lack of a definitive answer.
  13. So, for those who think the media (specifically the left-wing media) will kill the Volt, Rachel Maddow has been basically jacking off over the Volt while teasing the upcoming story on it.
  14. Toyota Camry
  15. We already have members who think it should still be 1959 or 1968 or 1977, why not have the token "guy stuck in the 80's"?
  16. Camaro or CTS, take your pick because I doubt Buick will get a coupe anytime soon.
  17. Our sales tickers dont go back that far and I dont feel like perusing GM's media site.
  18. And just for funsies: 2005 total-132,465 2006 total-90,918 2007 total-78,287 2008 total-41,230 I'm pretty sure that if you Google "Pathetic+Sales" you get a picture of the Montana SV6.
  19. I haven't seen one in years. When talking minivans, I'd put just about everything (except the crap Ford was peddling) above the U-vans.
  20. Unless he really wants a huge car with no interior or trunk room, the Cooper is the better pick.
  21. A guy I worked with way back in the day had an Avenger that wouldn't pass inspection because the rubber was bad. So he looked at his wrecked Celica, realized they haad the same number of lugs, therefore they should go right on. So he did it, replaced the 16's on the Avenger with the Celica's 14's. And his speedometer was off by a lot. He said he drove by one of those radar gun trailers they had set up in town and that the speed difference was like 7 mph at a very low speed, I think 30 or 35mph so going faster it would have been even larger.
  22. Screwdriver+ski mask
  23. The do look good on your car. Any chance of finding Dodge center caps that will fit?
  24. Just remember to get the speedometer recalibrated, lest you get a speeding ticket.
  25. The iPod-ready stereo will, should the deal go down, be in the Lincoln within hours of the transaction. But I do have a decent collection of 70's stuff on my iPod.
