  1. Seats weren't too terribly comfy, the trunk was pretty small and the interior materials were second rate, at best.

    Weddings....

Well that was fun. Currently on a long layover in Hotlanta. Rented a Camaro in LV, got married, spent the night, left this morning. Our families are PISSED, but thats all part of the fun.
  3. Got an LT in Vegas, I was underwhelmed, but we only drove like 30 miles.

Leaving for Vegas in about an hour......
  5. Well maintained ones are going to be highly sought after, but ones with a ton of miles and a ton of problems are going to end up either in yards or in the hands of people who will abuse them even more.
  6. Really? You guys are getting all worked up over a car with a quarter of a million miles and a bunch of problems being put down? The Northstar isn't a cheap engine to keep running, and Aurora parts cannot be plentiful, so it probably made no sense at all for the previous owner to keep it. To put it another way, this person probably thought figured that making a monthly car payment of $250+ was a better use of their money than the time and money needed to keep the Aurora running and legal.
  7. I haven't seen one of those in ages. I've always liked them, almost as much as I like the original 240Z.
  8. The cost and complexity of running a plant, along with engineering the cars to be built in the plane is too much for Penske to take on, and I doubt they have the money to pay GM to do the grunt work for them.
  9. www.nowayinhell.com?

    Alcohol!!!

    Is it the Solstice already?
  11. Dammit! Maybe I could have pulled a 1000% profit on the wagon if I hadn't done all that work on it.

Jill just made me a gugantic Long Island, and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. 80's collectibles, thats slightly oxymoronic, isn't it?
  14. Why would anyone buy a GNX and only put 170 miles on it over 20 years?
  15. I dont think I've ever seen a 50's Chevy, no matter the model, that looked that clean with an asking price that low. It seems $10-15,000 will get you solid but dirty, in need of a bit of TLC and $$$.
  16. Where is NOS when he's needed?
  17. Dont know how rare, but its pretty cool, and definitely worth what they're asking.
  18. Maybe you're straight after all.
  19. On the way out to the drive-in we went through some pretty dumpy towns, all of which seemed to have its fair share of 50's GM iron. A bunch of Chevies and a yellow Cadillac that, if restored, would be a pretty cool addition to my fleet.
  20. Just a few minutes ago, in the parking lot at the store I saw an n-body Malibu with two of those cheesy 2" exhaust tips, one on each side of the bumper. The one on the driver's side stuck out about 3 inches from the bumper, the passenger side was nearly flush, but at a really odd angle.
  21. We're going to hit the drive-in up tonight for Ice Age 3, as long as this rain lets up.
  22. My hatred of the 3rd gen increases every day, they're ugly and stupid.
  23. I'd buy 8500 Priuses and give them away in exchange for 3rd gen F-bodies that I will then crush/destroy/poop on.
  24. Did it shoot 7-up? Or fruit punch? Because I'd love a bidet that dispenses one of those two beverages.
