  1. They also get tons of money and tax breaks from state governments, but since they dont hire unionized workers, thats ok with a certain segment of the population.
  2. 1) Remove driveshaft 2) Put lever into 4wd 3) Drive around in FWD Tahoe Edit: You get any pics of that weird hinge rust?
  3. This morning I happened across an Olds 350 that may go cheap. Its been rebuilt recently, so the whole swap would take no time and I'd get a bump in power. The only problem then is that I'll have a newly rebuilt 307 just sitting around.
  4. I said this dude was bat$h! crazy and a far bigger threat than Saddam 6 years ago and I still think we invaded the wrong "threat" to the U.S.
  5. I just have no desire to actually see it, I'm not about to go out of my way just to watch it. I didn't see the first one until one boring, slow Saturday afternoon I started going through channels and it was the least unappealing thing on.

    No Doubt

I often forget that the guy up the street has a freaking flock of them that he lets stay out in his front yard and they make odd noises.

I have more of a problem with roosters scaring me $h!less on my morning jog than spider webs. At work, however, there always manages to be a few webs in the storage/supply room, which is essentially a walled off part of the warehouse.
  8. OB is right, if we can look past the eccentric personal stuff, MJ was really a man with talent to be envied. If only today's pop music were interesting and original like Thriller.
  9. I'll wait until it hits HBO, just like I did for the first one.
  10. It'll never have more than sentimental value to a diehard lover of mediocre Pontiacs.

    Ugh,

8th straight day with high in the 90's. If we're lucky it'll be in the mid-80's early next week.
  12. Its almost impossible to take a bad picture with a good camera. And, according to a friend, everybody looks good in black and white, so a great camera with B&W film will presumably take the greatest pictures possible.
  13. A pro I happen to be acquainted with has one and it is incredible. You remember that episode of Futurama where Fry says, "But this is HDTV, it has better definition than real life"? Thats about what pics taken on the A900 are like.
  14. Yeah, I grew up on traditional film. Started developing my own B&W film when I was about 9. Lifes been getting in the way, so I haven't been doing my own developing as much even though I have everything I need. I've thought about getting a DLSR, but the only one that really gives me a boner (Sony A900) is freaking pricey.
  15. Yeah, you'd think the guy with a wife and two daughters would be past the point of objectifying women. Someday when it isn't 100 degrees with violent sunlight, I'll take the camera down to the lake and get some pics out on the kayak. I really need to get my darkroom set up so I can develop pics myself. Wal-Mart no longer does 1-hour developing and Walgreens is incredibly inconvenient.
  16. The bottom building is empty. I'd love to buy it and turn it back into something useful. The "Beeman's Pepsin Gum" ad needs to be restored. Every other house down here is built on a sinkhole.
  17. Studebaker Hawk Chevy Colorado w/sealed beam headlights. I recall seeing pictures on the ordering guide, but I've never seen one of these fleet specials in person.
  18. That house is now gone, the sinkhole filled in and the city wont let anyone build on that site. But I took a couple pics of buildings down on C-Street this morning.
  19. White chocolate raspberry pancakes Kumquats (freaking impossible to find anymore) Sausage Apparently Father's Day is the day I'm supposed to remind my family why they should appreciate me.
  20. Thats as much a Pagan tradition as wearing knockoff Versace sunglasses, apparently.
  21. You'd think women who dance around naked all day would get some sun, pale isn't a good look on anyone.
  22. I cant decide. Maybe I'll get one of the Buick as well.
