    Oh, Crap

We've got neighborhood ordinances regarding all sorts of dumb stuff. "Oversize" vehicles cannot be parked along the street, which pisses off RV owners. We're not supposed to leave garage doors open unattended. I cant think of any noise related ones per se, but we used to have a bunch of d-bags on 49cc scooters running up and down the street at all hours of the night. Someone called the cops on them a few times, but they've been gone for a while, I assume the rental company evicted them on the grounds of being dumb white trash. And speaking of dumb white trash, the dude who used to go speeding by in his loud, ghetto 3rd gen Camaro now goes whizzing by on his Huffy. Hopefully that Camaro was turned into a paper weight. OB, have you by any chance tried talking to your neighbors? I know its a lot of work, walking 60 feet, ringing the doorbell and saying something like, "Dude, seriously, quit being a prick" but it may be effective.

    Oh, Crap

No central air? That practically is Amish living. Call the cops to complain, whats the worst that can happen?

  5. well, the 350 is mine, just a matter of making the cross-state trek to pick it up. Then its a matter of a new intake manifold (I'm refusing to ever again mess with a stock one) and maybe headers and putting it in. Oh, and in a perfect world, I'd be able to put the 307 into an old Jeep with a solid body and a blown engine. Alas, we dont live in a perfect world, so it'll probably wind up on Craigslist. There was a guy with a Cutty looking for a 307 a while ago.

  10. People who use the phrase, "You can say that again" People who, upon hear the aforementioned phrase, repeat what they had just said. People who do other irritating things.

If there hadn't been an older couple looking at G6s right next to me, I would've licked it.

    Ugh,

Speaking of Chrysler AC units (but not really) I get a laugh everytime I see the U.S. Fidelis commercials where both examples of why people should buy aftermarket warranties are Chrysler products, a T&C (AC Compressor) and an Intrepid (transmission).

    Ugh,

Really? I've never had much luck with AC on cars with small Asian engines. The Fusion and Sebring both had terrible ac compared to the L200 and Solara. The Prius isn't meat-freezer cold, but it does the job, although I'm sure the tinted windows dont hurt. I haven't driven the MINI during this epic heat wave, but when I have used it, it seemed ok.

    Ugh,

94, with the heat index it feels like 98. We've been inside all day. But on the bright side, its supposed to pour tomorrow. And what really sucks is that when I want to go kayaking, driving the Buick is the most logical choice, problem is I may have inadvertantly destroyed the ac compressor, so its like a giant hotbox. Fun fun.
