  1. I own a clunker and you know what I'd do if someone offered me, oh say $1500 to junk it? I'd take it in a heartbeat. That $1500 could be put towards an Avalanche, which would do everything the Buick does more efficiently.
  2. Chevy Compact?
  3. Since the 5th gen concept was released a decade ago and they're just now finding their way into showrooms. And as for them flying off lots, my dealer has had 3, 2 of them have been sitting there for 3 weeks, unsold.

    Tetris

I dont recall Tetris being available on the Dreamcast. But Extreme Sports was, and that game was awesome. Where else can you ski and hang glide? Nowhere, thats where.

9-9-99 was the day either the MTV Movie Awards or VMAs were held, I dont recall which, but I remember they advertised the hell out of it and I hated it.
  6. I was in Best Buy a couple weeks ago and I was shocked to see the number of hot chicks working there. It seemed every department except automotive audio had a hot girl. I was pleasantly surprised.
  7. The Prius and Insight are far ahead of the Volt in one significant respect. They're available, right now, today. There is a blue Insight out in front of the Honda store. Is there a blue Volt out in front of the Chevy store? Nope. The Volt may end up being the most anti-climactic intro GM has ever had, even worse than the Camaro, because its been shown in concept form, then in production form and its still 2 years away from being available to the public.
  8. One thing I've noticed about newer houses is that the closets are tiny and unlit, which irritates me. Jill and I have the closet in the master bedroom filled with out-of-season stuff in the closet in the guest room, which doesn't have a light. And I equate CRT to portable cd players. Sure people still use them, but there are much better options available.
  9. I'd like to see Buick follow the Acura model too, but this is still GM we're talking about, they still need to supply Avis with rentals for blue-hairs in Reno.
  10. And, unfortunately for some, the only guy with Pontiac in his blood and a boatload of cocaine to traffic died a few years ago.
  11. Linkitylinkylinkpoo
  12. ruptured testicle
  13. I can never see who is driving Enclaves because they all seem to have uber-dark limo tint.
  14. Manassas
  15. The type of person who would even consider such a proposition is someone with far more money than brains or business sense.
  16. Creve Couer
  17. I think that Sting Ray sketch was from Motor Trend. Either way, rumors from magazines are usually flat out wrong.
  18. Flint, the city of darkness
  19. Europe is a different market. The Astra was priced way above the Focus/Cobalt, so it couldn't really compete with those, but at the same time it didn't have a conventional sedan to compete with the Civic and Cobalt and lacked the power and premium amenities to go head-to-head with the Rabbit or Cooper. If the Astra had replaced the S-Series in 2002, it would've fared better than replacing the ION in 2007.
  20. freedom fries (its easy to forget how stupid people have the capacity to be)
  21. Volt? Assuming it ever gets here
  22. The Astra was overpriced and had too many flaws to be a real seller.
  23. Rome wasn't built in a day.
  24. But GM IS trying to get it right by no longer forcing itself to put its meager resources into 17 brands worldwide.
  25. With the amount of money it would take to get GM to agree to that, and to pay to federalize Holden's lineup, you'd be looking at a bankrupt Pontiac in a couple of years.
